Im PC challanged..... Firefox help!

I just installed firefox on my PC.. I have windows 7. How do I refresh my screen now?? There is a lot of stuff missing from the tool bars with firefox that I had with explorer. I hear its a better browser but I have always used windows XP and windows 7 with explorer and now I'm totally lost. Plus it points out all my spelling errors. I guess that's a good thing LOL!

What are you missing?

You could always check for add ons

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

BTW

Google Chrome > Firefox

The refresh button is gone. The box with the 2 green arrows? Im a refresh-a-holic. Without it Im lost :rofl:

I pointed out the refresh button. Let me no if ur looks like that if not i can help add buttons if their not there

Oh my gosh.. LOLOL! I feel silly. Ok I get it now. I also went to full screen mode and couldn't figure out how to get my favorites tab back! Oi. I just need to play with this awhile. Im so used to XP w explorer that when I got this new PC I had to completely re-learn the new windows 7. Now I'm trying firefox and I'm in school all over again.

I love Firefox, it's so flexible and there is a ton of add-ons for it.

You can right click say your "home" or "Refresh" button and click customize, and add all or remove all the buttons that you need.

If hold down CTRL before you click in any link, it will open the link in a new tab, I've always love that, and Firefox had that ability way long Before Internet Explorer did.

Google might be awesome, but I dont think as highly of Google Chrome.

And SSSSHHHHH! dont tell people about the spelling check! :P

I don't really like chrome all that much either.

Spell check saves my life.

If you center click (scroll button) that also opens a link in a new tab. Opening up a blank new tank is ctrl T, opening up your most recently closed tab is ctrl shift T.

Those are some of my favorite shortcuts.

Speaking of google being evil.

Have you ever looked at how much info google has on people? We was just talking about this last night in class.

They got all your internet searches, They are now into cell phones, They have a browser, Their making Chrome os.

Just playing devil's advocate here... People are so concerned about Google having our information. What about Microsoft? How much of your information do you think THEY have? I'm sure that if you're using a PC, they have more than Google will EVER have on us...

Who cares if google has your search history? Are you searching for things you shouldn't be??? And if you are afraid of some company having your search history, bing is not any different, its just a crappier search engine.

Google is not evil. I have an android phone and I will surely be trying out the new OS when it comes out.
