How do they know that super pastel is thrown in with the mix? or even enchi?
Because it is their job to know.
They are not going to advertise that an animal has genes it does not.
Say I buy a super double sunshine blast for 50k and that little bugger just don't make no rays of sunshine... The breeder is going to owe me some money and I will tell all my friends to stay away from them and they are liars and falsely advertise their product.
I'm not buying a 50k snake from Jim Bob who started producing them last year I am buying mine from BHB because you know that snake has everything they say it does.
oh man it be cool if they brought to the next white plains ny show.

I agree, it is definitely their job to know. My question is HOW do they know? How can they be so sure that those genes are in there? Can they just look at it and know exactly what genetics it has?
I can definitely see some of the genes that are in there, but others I can't be sure. For example, the super pastel and butter. I can definitely see that one of those genes are in there, but both?
I'm obviously no professional, but I know what each one of those snakes looks like alone and in certain combos. I find that butters and super pastels give similar characteristics to certain combos, so to have both in one snake seems like it would be very difficult to tell by appearance I guess. I would understand if they have seen that combo morph before, but seeing a combination like that more than once is probably quite rare.
Does anyone else know what I mean, or am I just coming of sounding like a complete amateur? Thanks, any input is appreciated.
