New 09 Calico Male from Jas...

This is my new 09 calico male that I picked up from John (Jas) tonight. I am VERY excited to add him to my collection and looking forward to making all kinds of combo's with him!!! I have a pastel female lined up for him now and of course it would be nice to shoot for calidors in the future. I also have a couple of genetic banded females I would like to pair him with to see if the babies pop out really high white like how NERD has done breeding their genetic bandeds with spiders. Maybe this has already been done? I couldn't get any really good pics of him tonight because he would not sit still. I will take better ones in the future because his sides near his belly are really cool looking also and I could not get good pics of them...

In this pic you can kind of see a bit of the ringer, the white belly and the het pied like markers. He really is just a cool looking ball python...

Calico's are a really cool morph..One that I think we'll start seeing some really cool stuff in the way of combo's.. Best of luck with the Pastel calicos.. I know their on my list to produce.. :D

Maybe once he has a few notches on his tub he will calm down enough for you to get more pics. :D

Thanks Walt!!! I am hoping that he is a breeding machine because I have some big plans for him!!! And Adam is great!!! I met him and his wife at the Delaware house in 08 when I picked up that pastel female and the male spider I have. Adam and his wife were very cool and very nice :gj: Me and my wife just drove by the Delaware house when we picked up our ivory and they are tearing it down now for some reason...

As far as calicos go, does the white get greater, further up? Are they similar to pieds in that a low white calico can throw a high white calico? I dream about a calico spider after seeing the one RDR produced, insane animal.

Low white calico's that you can barely see can throw super high whites and the super high white calico's can throw low whites. So yes they are just like pieds in that sense :gj:

Smokin Calico! I also cant wait til my girl is big enough. I still cant figure out what to put with her. Fire? Vanilla? Pastel? Yellow Belly? Lesser? I just dont know! They are one of my favorites by far. :gj:
