I was wondering if you have the ball python that you want

I have what to me is the perfect example of every snake I have. Enchi, spider, pastel, fire, tiger, cinnamon, etc

I have a lot of ball pythons that I wanted but I will personally never have the one I want. No matter what I get I will want something else. For example: I really wanted a pied and I got it. But now that I have him I want a pastel pied. Once I get a pastel pied I will want a super pastel pied or a hypo pied or a spider pied or an albino pied and so on and so on. So I got a lot of the ball pythons I wanted and I am very happy with what I have but I personally will always want something else...

I voted yes because I am just happy to have a ball python even if she is not a special morph. The next BP I get however will hopefully be a morph.

Yes, I have the pied of my dreams! But now that I have it, I want some pied combos. And a lavender albino. And possibly a super pewter, and maybe a pastel g-stripe...

i said no because the reason i got into bps was because of the pied and i still dont have :(.

ps i also want a mojo, a jigsaw, a pin, a killer clown, and every other morph out there lol:D

I do have the ball python I have always wanted, she arrived Thursday morning! She is only a low white pied ball, but is beautiful to me.

every time i purchase a new bp i get the bp i want. but i will continue to purchase new bp's sooo my answer would have to be yes and no:)

I had to go with no, because I will never be able to afford the one(s) I would love to get. I do love my two normals, though.

I am very happy with what I have, but, there is always a but. I would love a Banana. The ever ending list of bp morphs.

I have 2 morphs I wanted, which will produce for me one of the others I want. I've also got a 100% het that will later produce for me, what I personally see as one of the most beautiful morphs in existence, a pied. After that, I'm not sure what i'll go for but there are two or three others I'd like to have.

I do have one of the ball pythons that I want, but I am pumped to pick up an albino.

Well, I got one of the morphs that I wanted. As long as new morphs come out, you will never have the one you want!
In the past month or so, I have been finding myself looking at Orange Ghosts! Never looked at them before, I've seen them but never interested. Now all of a sudden I'm thinking of adding them to my collection. It never ends!

I am very proud of the snakes I have, and I think they are all gorgeous. I can't wait to start producing morphs of my own with what I have. But my dream BP is a pied, and I've yet to own one, or even to see one in person.

Editors note: If this was indeed the case I would have to secure a second mortgage, sell all vehicles and my soul to the devil in order to probably acquire such a morph. In this case, an extreme super morph. But , eh, ya' only go around once.

I kinda had to read the OP twice 'cuz I thought exactly that - "Why would I buy a snake I didn't want"?

The ball pythons that are in my collection at this time are what I wanted, I chose or held them back very carefully based on what I want and find attractive, I never get or hold back a snake just to say I have it, the animal must truly be a great example to make the cut ;)

There are many more that I want though and that I do not have yet :(

I purchased the bp I wanted... the problem is that I wanted another soon after... then I purchased it... and .... you get the point. The story goes on and on and on......

LOL...ain't THAT the truth! The fact is here right now we are physically out of space to keep anymore. We are trying sooo hard to get debt paid off so we can get into a house. Then will come racks of AP tanks. I can't wait!

I would really like to get a pastel female and lesser male or female... but right now my money is tied up in other things so i need to wait a few weeks til i can start saving up for a new baby.

In my eyes, the too-often overlooked gems of the BP world are the "normals". As a science student, I admire the genetic eyecandy, but I honestly couldn't see myself desiring to own a morph. I'm more than happy with my two gorgeous normal girls. :D

I said no, because I want them all, and I've been really drooling over pewters lately.

But yes for today, because I just got my HC albino male! :D Somewhat reduced, and a total charmer.. And after this week, when the itch to have more comes back, all I have to do is think about the smokin pastel female that's being shipped to me in August. I'm sated for the next couple months.

I said no, only because I have my one normal. I'm learning everything absolutely necessary with her, then I will get a morph of some sort. I can then without a doubt be completely happy with which ever one I get. I promised myself I will never get more than 2 at a time, and I plan on sticking to that. Honestly, if my next one is a $200 morph or a $600 morph, that will be it. I would be content with my normal, and a spider, or a pinstripe.

At first I was satisfied with having a normal. Just got a pastel...and I also want a pied, a desert mojave and of course, a snow...is that too much to ask?:D

Problem with balls is, once you get one that you WANT you realize another one you want...then another, then another, then another, then another, and then another! It never ends! :rolleye2:

Sadly I don't have it yet, but I did pick up a Female lemon Pastel and a Male Pinstripe this year, so all I need is a little bit of time and I WILL!!!

I want a Female Sable. I'm just getting into having ball pythons. My husband was given a normal ball, which started the interest. After looking into all the various kinds of balls available, I really like the sables, and would like a female of my own...... Like so many things in life, it just takes time and money.

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no i dont have what i want hahahaha a friend of mine breeds ball pythons and he hase some amazing morphs that i never heard about like for example the desert ghots caramel only 2 in exitence and he has one of them
man i can only hope and pray that i can have the ball i want in the near future
