A little of something...

I just picked up a new normal male ball python. I was tired, and had extra money at an expo today, and the mix made for an impulse buy.:oops: (Though I don't regret it, I always love ball pythons, even normals)

The breeder and I both think something might be going on with this little guy, so I figured I'd see what you guys think. Either way he's going to have a good long life here.:gj:

He just ate his first meal for me the same day I bring him home too, I'm so proud, he'll hopefully become a champion eater.:gj:

No one has any opinions on him?:snake:

And yah Ive had similar threads, I ton of views, but people alittle to busy to comment I guess ;)

He is pretty. I am a noob when it comes to morphs but he does look interesting.

His keyholes remind me of the Russo Het. Leucistics. But his color looks a little more intense then them. Guess I'll find out next year, he'll be going with a mojave female.:)

Neither did any of my normals. It's a very neat looking pattern, and if he wasn't on his week off (to get used to the new home) I'd be staring at it again. ;)

Very ugly, you should send him to me asap! Lol, Great looking snake, it does look a bit like a Russo Het too, after he's settled in maybe you could give us some belly pics?

The breeder thinks something might be going on... is the snake a CH or CB?

Either way he is a really nice looking boy, will be interesting to see how those colors mature. I am always looking for any repetive pattern/marker in a snake and checking the offspring to see how it influences them.

Sounds like he is in the right home. :D

I was half-asleep at the expo, I forgot to ask.:rage: I emailed him though. It was a Markus Jayne stock, so either way I know he'll be a high-quality animal. He mentioned his newest additions (The Blue Diamond Het. / Russo het.) while I was talking to him, but said he couldn't prove it. I wish I had some coffee before I had gone. :rolleye2:

I guess I don't see anything extraordinary :confused: He is very pretty though.

About the key holes, I've got a normal female that has nothing but key holes. Her black is absolutely jet black. I'm excited to start working with her this coming season.

Very pretty! She looks pretty neat. My interest in the keyholes on mine is that it's a known pattern for Russo hets. along with the brighter color where yours is very dark my new guy is very high yellow.:P If he proves out normal oh well, I still like him.

Very pretty, I love the color variations on him. He's gonna make some pretty babies.
