Dinker lock!

Hey there. I was convinced this girl wouldn't lock up after several failed attempts, but she's being receptive tonight! Perhaps Nigel just needed some experience with a more willing lady before he could crack this amazon woman :P. Anywho, I'm really excited. She doesn't look like much in this picture, but she's in deep shed at the moment. Here are some pictures (excuse the messy tub, you know how they get)!

And secondly the beginnings of a lock. They're more clearly locked now, but I didn't want to disturb them anymore than I had.

It's really interesting. Since purchasing her, I've seen several snakes for sale with a really similar look to her--not precisely like her, but very similar. The strange (or I guess more annoying than anything :P) thing about it, is all the snakes with her look have been females. I wish you the best of luck with your project though--if you hatch anything before I do, be sure to let me know if anything cool results! I'm happy about the lock but I'm thinking she still may not go this season.

Yeah I bred her to my male yellow belly so we will see what happens. She laid 6 eggs 2 weeks ago and only 2 are good.
