    Branches in Tubs
Well I will be getting a Boa. While I was thinking on how to set up a temp 28qt tub, it hit me that they might want a small branch or something similar while they are very young.

How do you guys set up your tubs and branches for young boas? Any pictures will definitely help!

    Thanks! :D

lol not a branch :P I use it in the same way u would. Idk he uses it as a hide.. On the side theres a little like cave type thing he chills in. I dont see a point in a straight branch as i dont see em wrap around it like a GTP would

They like to climb somewhat when younger. I would think they are too heavy to stay up on anything when they are big.

Well iv seen mines lay in a ball on the top or go inside the cave part and chill out in there.

I think if u had a straight log they dont like wrap around it and hold on and chill in the air maybe climb a bit. Idk i think the thing i got works best in a tub due to it not being to tall

I don't have personal experience for you, but what you could do is use a PVC tube, I'm sure you could rig it to the sides using some nuts and screws. Another thought would be look in the bird section. Usually they have branches that will have two metal plates to sqeeze between the cage bars. Again, you could rig that up easy by just making a hole in the tub for the washer. I have a pet store by me that specializes in birds and they have branches that are up to 4 ft in length.
