I like it better than the current models appearance wise. The internals will absolutely kill the 3GS. I'm waitin on the Dell Mini 5, myself;)

Looks good!!! Me and my wife's upgrade is not for a loooong time though because we just upgraded to our 3gs's not too long ago :( You already know that though Nate since I talked to you about it when we did it - lol. We really like our 3gs's though so it's not such a bad thing I guess...

Apparently the new Iphone 4g is the FOURTH generation of IPhone, not on the 4G network...

3GS will get all of the benefits of 4.0 software when it launches including multitasking. You won't be missing much.
Anyone waiting on an iPhone for Verizon should check out the new HTC Incredible as well.

I think we need an Off Topic forum for gadgets and tech:) I'd have no problem filling it with content.

I can let you know after April 29th when it gets delivered to my job (that's the official release date - I pre-ordered mine).

There are a lot of Blackberry users that are leaving their BB's behind for the Incredible.

Verizon has some great phones comin. The Incredible is the best Android phone available in the U.S. and the Moto Droid is a solid phone. The iPhone should be available a bit later in the year as well.

I :love: Verizon - coverage and customer service can't be beat. Dependability is my #1 when choosing a cell phone provider - and yes, I pay a little more for that service, but I've been with them for 14 years now and can't see myself leaving them.

Yeah. Actually I have no problems with Verizon other than I can't get an iPhone.

Iphone is nice but over rated for all the apps that you have to pay for.

I for one love my business HTC Shift 9500, which is 7" touch screen with full keyboard running windows vista. Works with any CDMA carrier like sprint
1GB RAM, 40GB hard drive

The screen is .2 inches bigger, but it's really thin. It's not bulky at all for what you're getting in return.

Nope. The new one will have a faster processor, better camera, AMOLED display among other things. The software however, will be compatible with your 3gs so the functionality will be mostly the same.

I've read mixed results about the screen protectors. This one guy did a test with his Eris - used a razor blade, keys, quarter and nickel - and scratched on the glass without a protector - and it passed with no scratches.
