    Calico Question
When a calico hatches it has pink... this pink will eventually turn to white.

So my question is how long does this take?

Next if anyone has pics of there calicos from the pink stage to white for comparisons on what a high white vs low white vs med white calico looks like in the pink stage, I would appreciate that too.

Thanks in advance, and I will try to get some pics up tomorrow of my little girl and get everyones opinions on how high or low white she might become.

Here is the little girl I hatched out, thinking she will turn out in the medium white range, just my thought I would like everyone elses thoughts too though.

How sure are you that it is a Calico?

she has the head spot, the belly has the "het pied markers", and even though the pics are hard to tell its definately a pink on her sides.

She has all the qualities that the hunters guide points out the differences.

Its also a day and night difference between her and the normals

I just went to your site and seen the pictures you have up. I think she may look like her (the one you have on your photo page). Better photos would help and maybe one of her next to a normal.

I agree. But it should be obvious when she's about 200-300 grams.

What I dont see on this snake is the yellow banding around the pattern that is typically associated with calicos.

Here is a pic of a calico with not much white on this particular side but the yellow banding is still quite evident as it should be on a young calico.

~This is my Calico when she was just a few months old. Still had the pink.~

~This is her about 6 months later and aproximately 500 grams. Calicos have outlining on all their markings. They generally have more of a black back. Ringers, etc.. Try to get better pics of your snake so we can see.

Saskia, that is one hot calico. Calicos are probably in my top 5 favourite morphs. Thanks everyone for the pictures.
