I've never had a problem with spiders over normals unless their wobble is in the extreme.
    Was it sick?:(

Awe I'm sorry to hear that...

Was it feeding? What were the temps like, ambient, hot side? What size/ what type of enclosure was it in? If it was feeding what was it feeding and how often? Did you contact the breeder for suggestions?

Sorry for your loss. :( I'm not aware of a higher mortality rate in spiders. I've got four here doing just fine.

I don't know what to say. I've never heard of any issues with Spiders other than a head wobble. Were there any indications the snake was sick?

    Sorry for your loss!

    That is awful!

I would seriously have a necropsy done. You have no idea what may have happened, and if it was something that can be passed on to other snakes, you need to know.

I am so sorry, I couldn't imagine if I lost one of my babies. I've been here for a long time, and I've never hear of Spider's having any problems except for the wobble.

Sorry for your loss. The spiders tend to have a little head wobble, and not move around so elegant as others but I have never had any problems or heard of any problems other than that. And not all spiders have wobble. Let us know if you find out what was wrong with him.

    Sincerely,
    Josh

he had a slight case of mouth rot . no ri temps were fine i got him to feed once right after i got him but rot i'm just guessing caused him to go off feed he ate a small adult mouse he was in a 20 gallon tank in quarintine seperate from other snakes and i lost breeder info he just kept getting alot of substrate in his mouth thats what i think caused mouth rot plus he was stressed out from treatment for mouth rot and constant cleaning out of substrate from his mouth i only had him like a month or two.very sad & depressing to late for necropsy already had funeral. he's in my back yard. i go to one of the best herp vets in the st. louis area and he said he probably died from and it sounds horrible starvation he said i should try tube feeding but i'm not that experienced at that . i hope no one thinks any less of me for not having necropsy.:tears:
