http://forums.saltwaterfish.com/vb/ is (or at least was) a very informative site back when I was into saltwater. Haven't been on it in a while though.

    Hi,

I think aquariumforum.com will help you on this. I found this site recently. You can find all the information about salt water/fresh water fishes, aquarium, aquarium equipments, equipments/sellers reviews, etc.

There you can even order fishes online. :whisper:

I used to moderate for Fish Geeks. I always liked it there-- very friendly and helpful.

I'm a member at a lot of sites... some of my favorites are:

    Water Wolves
    Monster Fish Keepers
PetFish.net (owned by a good friend of mine who also keeps reptiles!)

Here are some of the most popular fresh/saltwater fish forums.

    http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/
    http://www.aquariacentral.com/
    http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/

However, usually there are websites that lean towards a specific species of fish. For instance, they have forums dedicated to only dwarf puffers, oscars or blood parrots. They have forums specifically for cichlids, and ones specifically for livebearers. They also have ones specifically for catfish. I like the ones that are made for a specific group rather than any single freshwater fish, because the people in the forums will be more educated about a single species rather than every kind.

Well I mod the past 5 years at monsterfishkeepers.com on saltwater fish and have had over 22 years in the salt and fresh water hobby and am earning my Ph. D in Marine Biology so I would gladly help you. Just be weary of reefcentral.com lots of misinformation so I left them cause there was too many bad information and site admin. weren't doing nothing. Also find someone you trust and that you know is good with the hobby and stick to one person or a few trusted others cause once you start doing forums sometimes the information can be GREAT but also can be Wrong. Best of luck message me anytime for help if you'd like
