    man cave / hobby room
ok i have a spare room in our house that i talked my wife into letting me make it a man cave/ hobby room. i am going to put checkered white and black floors down so i can have my dirt bike in it. and not worry about hurting the floors. i have also move my inqubator into it so i will be close to the eggs. i am just curious to what some of yall would do in the room. i am drawing a blank on ideas so help me out please.

couches,tv,mayb a card table or pool table, mini fridge for the beers and drinks. Things like that unless you collect something then you can turn that room into what ever you collect. My basement use to be the "hockey" room it had jerseys from every year i played from when i was around 6 or 7 all the way up to college. Had all my hockey equipment and was where the team(same group of guys i grew up with playing hockey) would come before games to talk about the games and girls and what not but its no longer the hockey room 7 years now my aunt has lived with us and is down there now. Miss that place

I have my computer system, a big-screen LED TV, a la-z-boy recliner. My computer is hooked up to my A/V receiver so I can use my TV like a huge computer monitor and with a wireless keyboard/mouse I can recline and surf in style. The adjoining room serves as a reading room in addition to housing my reptiles, instruments, and bookcases (all of which have similar humidity requirements, so it works out well!).

The décor is simple/classical featuring dark cherry wood and gold tones. The space is designed for one, or at the most a small group.

Definately a mini fridge for beer and subway. Your collection of reptiles. Maybe a tool table or ping pong table. Posters/Framed pictures of manly stuff like hot women, cars, and sports teams/players lol. Comfortable couch for you and your friend. Nice TV. DVD player or XBOX 360 to watch DVDs and play games. Space heater and overhead fan. :gj:

    Jeez, I'm starting to drool.

I always said if i wont the powerball i'd have a room with fishtanks all around with nothing else except a swivel recliner so i could just go in there and relax lol.... but you could alway say put the very front end of an old car on the wall and mount a flat screen where the front grill would be :D ...
forget the mini fridge you need a big fridge so you can fot beer and snacks inside :D
Surround sound is a must !!!!

Definitely need a recliner/big screen combo.

I had an idea for a display case that involved building a large tv stand/wall unit with two built in display cases underneath the tv
