I Need Everyones Prayers

Tomorrow I am setting out on a cross country drive to relocate my family and I to Nashville. I am going ahead of everyone and then when I have secured a home and a job(I think this one is handled) I will fly back and move the family. I am usually the one saying "thats a good one Liza" to any house she was looking at. Now its just me I have to find the right house all by myself. I am freaking out. I also have never spent a night without my wife (other than a week in the very beginning of our relationship when checking in on my father), this is gonna be very hard. So friends and strangers alike please pray for me and my family. Thank you.

I leave on Thursday to go house hunting alone for my family as well. And while this isn't a new experience for me, I completely understand the pressure and stress that you are under, and I remember the nervousness of my first time alone as well. But God has always had just the right house waiting for us and I know He can do that for you as well. I'll be praying for wisdom and encouragement and that the right people are put into your path to lead you to that perfect home. :sunny:

You are taking a big step in your life, but in my opinion you are taking the right step. Most of the people that came to the US came here seeking better opportunity than was available where they originated from. When I was younger people used to move to the Detroit area to seek high wages in the Automobile industry. In the '80's lots of people went to Texas as it was booming in the midst of a recession. Not too long ago people (even you) headed to Las Vegas and Arizona because they were booming. Now I am hearing of people relocating to Tennessee or Georgia for opportunity. So many have done what you are doing before and it usually works out for the best. You will miss your wife but it will only be for a short period. I suspect that you will find housing to be easier and more affordable to obtain in Tennessee than in Nevada. While Vegas is one of the main victims of the mortgage crisis Tennessee never had inflated property values. We are all behind you and want you to succeed.

My the Lord be with you Tim. My wife and I are going to miss seeing you and your wife at the shows. I hope all goes well with the move and house hunting. Tennessee is a beautiful place though and I'm sure you will love the heck out of it. Houses are very cheep back there also. My brother had a 2 bedroom house for $350 a month when he lived back there.

Good luck. Good luck on a great paying job, they are in the area. The cost of living is pretty cheap there too. I've got an aunt that lives somewhere down there. Housing is unbelievably cheap compared to my neck of the woods.

Oh Also I dunno if your all big hockey fans but if your going to move to nashville you should all really check out a predators game. I went up there once or twice and it's alot of fun. :gj:

I'm sure when you get the fam down there it would be a great thing to do.

You will do a great job. How exciting for you and your family to discover a new place and do new things. Don't worry about house hunting.....any place with your loved ones is home and is always amazing!! Just think when you do see your wife after a couple of days....it will be like a little honeymoon.

Tim, we wish you all the best. i was in TN and MS the third week of March on a business trip and loved it but i did miss my family. it's really nice out there.

Guys I want to thank each and everyone one of you that has posted and Called in the last few days. It means so much that this community is this close. Thank you all and I will be updating you all when the move is totally done. A Angel has just made everything so much better by her kindness so a special thank you goes out to her. You have go wrong with family and your family may just be bigger than you think.

Thank you all for the well wishes I made it to Nashville last night at 930pm. I went out and met a few old friends to get some job contacts and my brother actually got me a job interview with his company tomorrow morning. So I will keep this thread updated as things go.:gj::gj:

My sister is near Nashville so I frequent the area. I'll letcha know next time I'm close by :gj:
