Which do you like better? And a Bonus Pic!

Last year I produced a couple of really nice Pastel Lessers. They were drastically different from each other, yet were both very nice!

It wasn't as though I looked at them and thought one looked like crap and while was awesome... I thought they were both very nice, and both had their strong points (which made picking a holdback less than easy)

Well after a few months, one became the clear "winner" to me to hold back... BUT opinions and tastes vary, greatly!

So, I thought I would post a poll to see which "Type" everyone else preferred

Sorry if you've already seen these pics... I would've taken new comparison shots, but no longer own any of the other clutchmates other than my 1 holdback

Here they are together a few months back...Which do you like? The one on the left? The one on the right?

The one on the right...much bolder, I like eye candy!

It might be harder to pick one in person with hands on both of them. But if I had the chance to choose one for my own collection based just on that single picture, I'd easily choose the one on the right. :yes:

they're both nice but like everyone else if i had to choose it would be the one on the right. BTW congrats and good luck.

Definitely the one on the left. I like the colors of it better. They're more subtle...hard to explaing what I mean. Looks creamier, I guess. Anyway, I don't care that I'm not with the majority. I definitely like the one on the left better.

I also voted for the one on the right but looking at the later pics of the leftie I can see his appeal, love that middle pic of him.

I would have held the one on the left--not because the one on the right isn't my favorite right now, but because I think the one on the left will look more spectacular as an adult, and I think the one on the right will dull out.

i'd have to say the right

I like the pattern of the one on the right, but prefer the coloring of the one on the left. If you put a gun to my head, I would go with the one on the left.

I voted for the one on the left, although it was a hard choice... I love the yellow on the right, but the insane blushing of the other does it for me. :gj:

In the original pic, the right looks much nicer. In the later pics of the leftie, he looks really nice. I just want them both! haha

my first year breeding balls...we only have 1 breedable female, and i MISSED her ovulation! very cool to see that pic though, that girl is MONSTROUS! hope she lays lots of good eggies for you!

those other 2 snakes are absolute STUNNERS as well!

The snake to the right is just stunning! The other one is still quite the looker too!

I have to say I love the blushing on the one on the left thats my choice

I agree, I like the one on the left as well, for exactly the same reasons.

I doubt that snake is gonna brown out, that yellow is really nice. A really good combination of why I like lessers and why I like Pastels... so def the one on the right, very nice snake.

Of course! :D Ive already got eggs on the ground, and more coming in the next day or so as well with more and more on the horizon...Should see lots of pics from me from now till fall LOL

I definitely prefer the lighter, more softer, Lessers. Therefore, I went with the one on the left. The one on the right is beautiful, too, but if I had my pick, that left one would be it. ;)

Some LPs keep their color though, A lesser pastel I had looked just as good as the one on the right at over 1000 grams, and looked just like him in the picture as a baby. The yellow on her was UNREAL!

I love them both and usually drool over golden-yellow BPs but I voted for the one on the left this time. I really liked the softer coloration.

Both are great looking snakes, I like them both.

I noticed you use coco fiber in your rack is that working well for you?
I just ask because I have been using it for years w/ many of my gecko species and have been using cypress mulch sense getting back into snakes.and didn't think of using coco fiber for my BPs.

I like them both, but if I had seen those other pics of the one on the left by himself I might have voted for him! They are both gorgeous though. BTW congrats on the ovulation!:gj:
