i doubt it would even be worth trying. would you even be able to tell what a GS pin would look like? the pin is already close to the GS with the back stripe and all.

my pin has a nearly clean stripe down the center of it. when she was young, it was brighter than the rest of her much like a GS.

the spider g-stripe is weak! looks like a really reduced pattern pin.

    Let's agree to disagree :/

I thing the spider gstripe looks great, looks absolutely nothing like a reduced pin.

The stipe on your pin also looks nothing like a gstripe..

You really think these might as well be the same snake? They look completely different!

not the same snake....just really similar!!

i bet if you took that reduced pattern pin and put it with a spider, you'd get almost the same thing without waiting for hets to grow.....

IMO the spider g-stripe looks like a Spinner without a head pattern and less gold. Too dark for my taste.

A Pin G-Stripe would probably look similar to the spider g-stripe but possibly more reduced and maybe it would keep more of the gold. But who knows till it pops out of an egg.

I think the gstripe spider pattern is blurryer then the spinner. Much more contrast.

I am not sure what the pinstripe Gstripe would look like but if it looks anything like the pinstripe super stripe that BHB did it is worth trying for sure.

I don't think that looks anything like a regular g stripe. Its got the pin color but with just the tiniest dots of the pinstriping. I think it's nice but to me it just looks like a super reduced pattern pin.

They do look completely different, but I agree that gentic stripe pins and genetic stripe spiders kind of look similar to the original genetic stripe :P

    Good thread.
I was planning on trying this combo next season, just to see what would happen. Glad I know to not bother now. :)

I have to agree. That snake looks off. It has what looks like a kink (2 in fact) in it's back and it is very skinny.

Its alive and well, the pictures where taken the day she shed. I know she has eaten a few times. I'm pretty sure the female will be for sale soon.
