Oh I knew it was a sugar or incredibly sugary looking calico but the fire title totally threw me off. So its a sugar fire I take it? Seems the fire gene made more yellows come out.

I like how fire lightened up the sugar. Almost looked like a pastel crossed IMO.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone :)

Hate to burst the bubble though, but this is just a nice/different Fire, no Sugar or Calico added.

I'd have to see the parents before I'd believe that.. Either way its a really hot animal..

If I had the 1500 I would have scooped her up immediately, definately something cool about her. Henry out did himself with her, unfortunately thats really the only one. Congrats on the pick up, I knew she would go fast. ~Caylan.S.~

    Re: Fire!!!
If thats true then that is one heck of a fluke. I too would need to see the parents. I mean look at it. Even the signature ringer markings near the tail. Very much a sugar/calico trait. Do some research on it. If the female was fire ask if she ever had the possibility to be with a calico or sugar. Even in a prior breeding. They can store sperm for a very long time. It really looks nothing like a fire at all. It does however look like a sugar/calico crossed with something else. Fire, or pastel from the amount of yellow and the head fading.

Thats just crazy. I cant stop looking at it now. You know there is a normal looking hidden gene BP that contributes to the way the different calico and sugar lines look. I wonder if maybe a fire was bred to one of these "normals" and this was the outcome?

Gorgeous fire. For something as crazy looking as that, $1500 seems cheap!

    i call shenanigans...

thats an amazing looking animal, but i think mr henry needs to x2 check his records ;)

theres more to it than just a fire x normal lol.

maybe im just not experienced enough to know "flukes" can happen

    sweet animal btw :gj::gj:

    Re: Fire!!!
Maybe the "normal" is an ugly sugar/calico? Just a low white plain looking snake? I have seen them with very low colors/markings that made me guess if it was in fact a sugar/calico.

What a superb snake though. I am sure that is not an average fire. I can't wait to see what it throws out in future breedings. You will def have to keep us all updated with its growth!

    Re: Fire!!!
I know, Thats crazy. Thats why I mentioned the "normal" hidden gene BPs that make the bubblegum and flora and fauna line calicos. I wonder if his normal female that was bred by the fire male just happens to be one of these special normals. If so thats amazing to find another morph that this gene will react to in a crazy way. The breeder should put a male calico or sugar to that normal female and see what happens.

To the OP, with this in mind, that little girl may very well produce some amazing babies for you someday if you pair her right :) Great pick up! I honestly thought you were messing with us lol
