I wish I could somehow post the add for this website that I saw, it was so funny to watch. That was the reason I clicked on the add :8:

I am sure the site will be quite well, probably is doing quite well, and is no doubt just an off shoot of friend finder, etc.

If the purpose of this thread is to merely denigrate people over 25... 30... ? (pick any arbitrary age) then that is seriously in bad taste.

PS: We do live in a youth orientated culture, but it is not always about them...

Like I said the add was funny lol. It was nothing serious like when after they re-direct you to the site.

Bruce, being 25 or 30 is OK. It is well documented that you don't cease to be a human being until you reach the age of 40.

Well... Its not exactly something I would want to see but we tend to gravitate toward people within our own age range. Give or take 8 to 10 years. It seems weird to you now but when your a senior and lonely you may change your mind lol!

My dad had a girlfriend and I was a little weirded out by the idea. After 30 yrs of marriage ending in divorce, it seemed a little out of place for him to be dating. But he was lonely and quite the charmer at 70 yrs old. I only hope Im not alone if I live that long.

Lol. I understand that, is not about older people dating. It's more about these sites. They seem to be trying to milk the online dating thing any and every way possible.

    Hi,

It's all the fault of the marketing industry.

First they imagine/ invent a pidgeonhole, then they define a group of people they imagine fit in it - then they try and target the same old tired drivel in a new and superfically relevant way.

Personally I'm with Bill Hicks on the whole lot of em - I won't be linking to it for obvious reasons but I believe clarification can be found on youtube.
