    Giant morph question?
I was reading another thread on WC(which was a great thread), and someone mentioned about a wc " giant sub-saharan". This is the second time I have heard in passing about a giant morph. Can someone talk about them and post any pictures ect. And also by giant how big are we talking?

Mike I've never seen anything but pics. I know of only a few people working with them ( that I know of ) from what I've been told and the pics I've seen they get to be about 1.5 - 2X's larger than a normal Ball python.. the pics I've seen show an adults head and its as wide as almost three adults fingers.

    In short they get biggg..

    They're not a morph. just a locality I believe.

Same with Blood Pythons. Most animals are from Sumatra and get a good size. But there's a couple out there that are of True Malaysian descent and can get even bigger.

They are pretty impressive in person, you rarely come across them, here are some pictures I took of one of them 2 years ago (not mine)

A friend of mine has a pair of sub saharans. Both male and female are every bit of 6ft long.

I know we have imported a few over 6000 grams, and i've heard of more over in africa.

Wow! I've never heard of those, they are so cool! Are there many breeders who sell them? If so, who?

Hey that Jungle Pastel was sweet but it had a kink? I know the Caramels have them but I didn't know about the Jungle's.

Yes, infact Brian Sharp's Albinos, Axanthics, and Snows come from a "large" bloodline so the majority of his from those morphs generally get bigger than normal. I have a "Giant Line" female that I am growing up right now. They are more difficult to grow up than "normals" it seems, at least with my female, her metabolism seems to be twice that of a normal ball python's.
