This was the first time I have caught a snake laying, so I am about as happy as I can be. :D

And my second enchi clutch in 2 days. Had one clutch last night when I got home, and had her laying tonight.:banana::banana:

WHOOHOO! So now you can ignore my question from that other site as I know who daddy is. ;)

Congrats! Hopefully she has a bunch more eggs out for you when you come back and check on her. :D

Yeah, I am up to 14 eggs.

2 clutches of seven eggs each.

1 yesterday and one today. :D

This clutch had all 100g potatoes! The one yesterday was 7 at 641g.

Yep. Started to get excited. If Georgie Girl gives up hers by the end of the week I will not be surprised.

Then no more for 60 days or I will need a second 'bator.

You know what, I have bred dogs, and fancy rats. You do get excited to see what the babies will look like, but once you see, its not over, but is a little less exciting. I do think that reptile breedings are more exciting because you don't see what they look like as soon as they lay the eggs, you have to wait a lot longer, building your excitement up a lot more. Then when the eggs finally hatch you're like "Oh, wow!" or at least that's how it went for me.

Unless you're talking about livebearers like boas. Then one day you walk into your snake room and you find potentially dozens of little monsters crawling about in goop. :puke:

Thanks all, I am pretty stoked right now. I did not get my enchis last year because of the fire, and I did not get to see any of my babes hatch out, or get to do the work. So this was a really exciting few days.

It is nice to be inspired and reminded why I work so hard on my animals. Looking in and finding eggs is just such a rush. :)

Now I get to hurry up and wait.

    Bruce

PS: Stephan, the girl that should go this week is Les' GF, yes. :D

Very true, I wasn't thinking about them. No matter what it is, it's all pretty exciting.
