Soooooooooo. After I get off work, I am going bar hopping downtown in my area. Anyone have some suggestions of anything I should try? :P

Midori sours are like a jolly rancher taste....real sweet and sour. You cant have more than one or two though, too sweet.

There are alot of crazy shot combos out there, plenty which are new drinker traps. Plus you guzzle them so fast you never figure out what you like to drink. And trust me if you have a cement mixer your gonna puke.

I love craft beer. In bama we have a place that has over 20 on tap all week with probably a hundred more in bottles and a new beer every week on the cask. Places that sell alot of craft beer tend to be knowledgeable about it and can help you pic out stuff.

If you wanna know more about craft beer, or find a good bar in your area.This site can help.

I also like a nice martini bar. My favorite is the French martini. Chambord Vodka and Pineapple juice. But the classic gin martini and the Manhattan are also pleasures. As is a nicely mixed Rob Roy. These bars are great because they have alot of fruity drinks that new drinkers can handle.



There is also a drink called the incredible hulk.
3 parts Hypnotiq liquer
1 part Hennesy.

It's actually pretty good but tart.

And there's nothing like a high quality margarita, on the rocks never frozen(Frozen has low grade tequila and ingrediants). If you can get them with fresh fruit and good tequila they will make you so happy.


Stick to liquers and beer mostly. And some Nice mixed drinks and you'll have a good time. Drink tasty drinks not just high alcohol ones. Because there's often enough alcohol in the tasty drinks.

Those who drink only for alcohol waste there money and never develop a true taste for all the richness and hard work that goes into fine booze.


My advice as a pro alchie. Your probably gonna puke tonight, everyone does when they turn 21. Keep a banana, and some gatorade at your home tonight. And have a greasy burger tomorrow. Pepto also helps.

We're actually going to a bar called Scotland Yard and they serve beer in these huge jars. They also have a dance club upstairs. I do love Margaritas, lol I won't be wasting my money. I know a lot of people who do that and it takes me forever to save up money so I'll be responsible with that tonight for sure!

I really like 1800 Reposado and Cabo Wabo. For my favorite Tequila drink


The Tequila Sunrise (Seru1 Style)

2 Parts Simply Orange OJ(no pulp)
1 and a half Parts 1800 reposado
light dash of grenadine.

Combine and stir with a straw in a tall ice glass filled halfway with ice. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.

Shot glass with 2/3-3/4 Amaretto then fill the rest with 151
Beer of choice, but I would prob suggestion a lighter beer.
Drop shot in beer glass and chug. I sware it taste JUST like Dr. Pepper just better.

happy b day...i got lucky when i turned 21 that my b day was over the summer so we bought all the tables in vip at the club i use to work at that is on the water and bought a few bottles. From what little i remember it was a good time hahah.It also helps that my best friends brother runs the club in the summer(only time its open as a club) so free bottles were a plus. Keep it Simple , a bottle of vodka straight or wiath sprite or a bottle of jack straight or with some coke.
Also for someone who said something about this earlier, unlike popular belief, the worst is when you first take beer and then something else. the gas in beer iritates a layer in the stomach wich makes alcohol being absorbed faster so the drinks after beer will be worst.

Very true. One of the main reasons for a hangover is dehydration. You should drink lots of water before you sleep and you'll feel much better in the morning....that's if you can hold the water down.:D

If you're close to Chicago you need to go to Excalibur. This is where BG takes his Limos from the Tinley show. Use BG's name at the door and you'll drink free all night.:D
