    Few pics of Sabbath
Just wanted to share a few pictures of my corn, Sabbath. I've asked about her morph on The Source forum, and I think we have it narrowed down to what she is: possible Okeetee phase normal. And if she's not, she's still my gorgeous normal :D

    Thanks for looking!

She has so much orange in the close up pics I really almost wanna call her a Sunkist.

But the overhead shot looks almost like a different snake :P

    Beautiful corn though!

I love corns. I really need to get 1 or 2.

Hmmm..I've never considered sunkissed. It's quite possible! She's in shed right now, so I'll get pics up in a couple days after :gj:
I tried going in order of when they were taken: the first is about a week after I got her. The next at about...5-6 months? (needs to look at dates pictures were taken) and so on :3 That last one was taken a few months ago yet.

You definitely should look into getting one ;) They're so docile (most of the time lol) and the color change can be so dramatic!

My guess is that she is an okeetee, and a nice one at that!

I'd have a few right now if I didn't have sucha compulsion to buy expensive display cages...pricey plastic domiciles.

That's certainly an oddball, but looks great!

I would say nay on okeetee (at least not pure okeetee) or sunkissed, it just plain doesn't look like it to me, but then again, it doesn't quite look like any other corn I've seen before.

My bet is it's from a breeding trying to cross a line bred trait with some recessive morph.

Yeah, definitely some neat patterns going on there! I like it a lot. :D

Definitely not a sunkissed. I'd say it makes the cut for an okeetee. Oranges aren't that intense, but those black borders are smoking!! If you ever think of breeding, I'd try to find a deep dark orange okeetee to pair with her; would make some amazing babies.

    update: feeding pics
Thank you for the input, everyone! Like the corn snake forum, it's kind of 'up in the air' what morph she is. All in all, probably a normal ;)

Wanted to up date with some feeding pics from last night. I apologize for the poor quality; they were taken with my phone in not so great lighting, lol. And yes, she's being fed in another tub :3

I'd say she could be called an Okeetee. Her black borders are VERY nice.

There are some people who say that the only snakes that should be called Okeetees are those that can trace their lineage back to snakes captured at the Okeetee Hunt Club. They would probably call your snake a "Lookatee", since it looks like an Okeetee.

One of the reasons for feeding in a separate enclosure is to prevent the snake from ingesting the substrate, so in the future, you shouldn't have that aspen in there.

That's what I've heard about the 'true' Okeetees. So she could very well just be an Okeetee phased normal. Someone explained it in detail to me on The Source forum :weirdface I agree though; I love the black borders on her saddles :D

And it seems this is the one time a lot of aspen ended up in the feeding tub; that's my fault . She always seems to be wrapped up with aspen in her log hide when I need to feed her
