spider head patterns
Hi, I made this thread to see the variable head patterns on different spiders. I'm curious to see the wide range of interesting shapes/markings! Here is a photo of mine. See if you can spot the pattern! I call him, "spider with great big question mark on head." He is in shed right now so it is sort of hard to make out. Enjoy!http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0223.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0224.jpg

DC Comics actually. He's one of the main Batman villains. He was portrayed by Jim Carrey in the Batman movie with Val Kilmer and Tommy Lee Jones. Not only is Batman one of my favorite super heroes but the Riddler is one of my favorite villains. Crap! Now I'm really jealous of that spider! I'm going to have to go check mine's head pattern again but I've never noticed a question mark.

It was a toss up between the riddler or Dr. Who lol. Although, the Riddler is a cooler character. I guess you could say I'm not much of a fan of Brittish shows with really cheesey graphics lol.

Re: spider head patterns
I love spider heads! Gawd, that would sound weird to non-snake people. :D Here's my boy Vinnie, who has kind of a skull pattern on his. I also say it looks like a piece (of the design) fell off, and landed right in the middle - doesn't it?

I might be a little crazy, but I think my male kind of looks like he has the Mickey Mouse logo on his head...

Re: spider head patterns
Well I was bored today so I took some more pics. This time she is out of shed, I also have a pic of my pastel, along with my leachie (I know, not exactly a ball python but like I said, I was bored).
http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0225.jpghttp://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0226.jpghttp://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0228.jpghttp://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0230.jpghttp://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/...s/100_0229.jpg
I have others, but these are the ones I am most excited about, as I just got into ball pythons not too long ago. I have always been into snakes. I used to own blood pythons but ran into financial trouble and was forced to sell them. Hope you enjoyed!

I do.
Might be the yellow belly in her that is throwing the head pattern off a little? I dig her head pattern tho :snake:

Well, they grow like weed! So you missed maybe a month or two. But ya they are the cutest thing when they are so small.

Re: spider head patterns
Here is a picture of my spider "Link". He got the name for the shape in his head actually, because to me it looks like the "Tri-Force" from the original Zelda game.... lol.

I guess this means I'll just have to start breeding so I can have babies:rolleyes: what a shame.

Re: spider head patterns
Cool thread! Great pics, everyone!
I'll add mine as well. I find the bees don't really get "patterns" like the spiders do, but I'll put 'em up 'cause everyone else is, lol!
This is Mr. Bumbles. He wouldn't stay still!
