What do you feel this is worth?
So I found a post on Craigslist (I know). The guys is getting out of snakes and in an email he said he wanted 450 for the albino but is also open to other trades. What are these worth to you? I dont have sizes on any of em right now and I would make sure they are in good health before I bought em.
Albino - Male
Black Pastel - Male
Pastel - Male
Spyder - Female
100% Genetic Strip - Female
7 Gravid Females
2 are gravid with a Mojave

Ages? Weight? Proven Breeder? Documentation? Pictures of specimens? These are all determining factors when it comes to price.

Without knowing the weights there is no way to give an esimate.

I dont have any of that. Im just tryn to get a rough estimate as to what they are worth. That and if I get em all how much I should expect to pay for buying em all at once Vs one at a time. He did say they where all VPI or NERD lines.

John is saying that if you don't know the weights and the ages of the animals, there is no real way to estimate well.
Babies are worth much less than adults. There is a huge discrepancy to be accounted for depending on that.

Too many variables to make a guess. Maybe somewhere between $500 and $1500 on the babies, depending on how many and what pops out. Having to deal with selling normals can be a hassle. Maybe you can sell them to Petco or Petsmart. Other than that, you're going to almost give them away to sell them. Probably less than $30 for the normals.
Age and condition will determine the prices for these snakes.

Well he just sent me this in an Email. He wants 3k for all of em and the rack
the albino is beautiful he comes from the NERD line and is high in contrast. they are all feeding on rats. i will not sell the just the gravid females, it would have to go all together.
they are all large pythons the smallest girl is the 100% het genetic stripe and she's about 1300. the rest i will get for you if you buy.

Hi,
I suspect an african scammer.
Ask for photo's on todays newspaper or with a card saying someone bizzare and unique.
Ask for info on shipping - when he mentions he has had to move to cameroon because of work ask him about cites permits.

If it really is a scam, just tell them you'd like to stop by and see them.
It would be interesting to know what they'd say then. I'm 6 hours from Denver. If I had time and money, I'd call him on it. Anyway...:rolleyes:

it is not a scam I actually bought one of his racks and a helix from him. A couple of the snakes have RI and they are in really dirty cages with 3 - 4 snakes per cage. I personally think he is to high for what he has and prices go up all the time but he does have the pythons and I did see them.

I have e mailed this guy many times and no answer. I would be carefull.
