I am new here .. so is my first BP (BEL)

Just want to say high :)

Name's Michael and I am from Germany and now live in England.

So far I only kept Kingsnakes but I picked up my first BP two weeks ago ... Was a bit odd to have such an expensive snake as first BP - but heh - fell in love - what can you do ey :rolleye2:

She is a beauty. Apparently she is an early 09 but already quite "chunky" (944 gramms or 33oz).

I guess the shop was pushing the breeding weight a bit .. But now she gets some exercise :gj:

Oh and she is a lesser / lesser

She gets a decent viv soon but my builder is a bit behind :(

Nice pick up you have there.:gj: What part of England are you in? BG spent a lot of time there when he was Baby Gunns.

Very nice first ball python, I wish I could afford that.

Funny you mention bumble bee - I am considering one as her future partner ... But I got no clue about genetics (yet) but got enough time to think about it .. I don't think I will breed her before the end of next year ...

Oh and she even had her first weaner with me as well .. .didn't strike feed though. Was a bit shy at first and just pulled it into her hide after 2 or so hours .. but now she seems to have settled properly .. In fact, she is very active and seems to be quite interested in .. well everything really ...

Mine too ... :oops: Always had those in mind and when I went to our local shop I saw a black eyed and blue eyed one and somehow knew I had to have one. The Blue eyed one was a bit like a puppy in a litter when you look for your first dog / cat .. I opened both tubs ... the black eyed was extremely nervous and shy where the blue eyed came straight out and towards me which got my heart right there :D

Although she isn't strike feeding .. have to leave a thawn rat in her tub for an hour or two before she actually does more than just sniffing :)

But I rather see her "lazy" eating than not at all :D
