Makes me really want some...How are they to keep? I honestly think the one thing that would hold me back is keeping crickets...

easy to keep, no special lights are need, but I use lightbulbs b/c our house is old and not well insulated.. you can use a 15 watt light bulb for them if they need some heat... as for the crickets I offer them once a week or so.. I dont buy a large amount just a few doz. and keep them in a small critter keeper.. they dont make any noise b/c htey have no wings or what ever it is they use to drive people nuckin futs.. I love the cresties so bloody cute and fast OMG they are fast.. they also eat this stuff called Crested Gecko Diet, it's a powered your mix with water, that is the main thing they eat. Smells REALLY good when its in power form.. But dont eat it, and no I have not tried.. although I have been tempted, it really does smell good, like a fresh mix of fruits and other yummy goodness.. Ok I'll stop yammerin on..
Cheers

these are the easiest things to take care of like he said. no heat pads/lights unless house is under 75ish I use a light as well, but it being winter in colorado kinda hard not too. CGD every day and crickets/dubias once or twice a week. and they are so loving too. each one has a diffrent personallity. I have 1 that is so mellow and laid back and 2 others that are on speed I think, allways running jumping liking barking squeeking. yada yada. but they are so adorable. but back to the point of the post
Man those are 2 cutties. I need more pics of mine.

Well then don't hold back, because: Insects are not needed for crested geckos.
I bet you're glad to hear that :D
They do fine on a powdered product that is mixed with water to form a paste that resembles rotting fruit to them.
Think of it as those breakfast shake things, but for geckos.
It's generally known as "CGD" for "crested gecko diet".
These cute buggers are the easiest reptiles to keep other than certain snake species, but even then it's just a tradeoff of only requiring room temp but needing to be fed more often than once every 7-10 days.

Oh a few more things!
DO NOT KEEP 2 MALES inthe same cage they will fight.
If they lose there tail they wont grow it back
and if you get babies, use a "criket keeper" type thing, or like a 2gal tank (yes they make them that small)

These have got to be the cutest little things I have ever seen! I am really starting to like them a lot! I can see myself possibly acquiring one in the future after some vast research!

Out of all of the animals that we have had (and that's been a lot), cresteds are undoubtedly the easiest to keep. The only thing that makes them a pain is when you try to go on vacation and have to have someone mist them, as they have to misted at least once a day. Usually, that's what my mother in law is good for :).
