    Is this an Enchi?
    Hi,

I'm relatively certain of the answer so for those who cannot resist look at the file names.

But, historically, enchi's are one of the morphs I score less than chance at identifying.

So I would like to ask those gifted with the wisdom to look at the snake and show me in words of three syllables or less why they give the answer they do. :please:

    I choose "not sure."

Enchi's that I have seen typically have a reduced pattern..but it's probably possible that one has a lot of keyholes.

They are also more yellow on the sides; however, a bad pic can make them look like a Normal.

    Enchi at the top:

    Heh,

Well, as most of you spotted it is definately not an enchi. :gj:

He is one of my normal babies from two normal parents.

I had hoped for more posts along the lines of "His yellow isn't bright enough, the darkening happens too low down on his sides and is too much of a contrast and the snake is too dark overall - plus he doesn't have any banding or whacked out head pattern" :(

    But.

I am highly delighted with the 24.14% of you who selected the "What does this button do?" option.

You have restored my faith in humanity and reinforced my dearly held belief that this will be the last sound heard before the universe dissapears up its own fundament with a loud comedy "PAAAAAAAAAARP!!!" noise.

    Re: Is this an Enchi?
A gorgeous wild type (looks almost exactly like one of my gals! :D), but definitely not an enchi.

I don't understand why a snake labeled "normal" cannot be just as unique and beautiful (or more so!) than some morphs. I personally prefer the variety in chocolates and golds and the wild pattern on "normals". The genetic goodies we can create are pretty awesome, but in all honesty, nature's creations are much prettier. (No offense to snake breeders. ;) )
