Im moving to Tempe AZ!

So life has been giving me a few curve balls so to speak lol and I now have the opportunity to move to tempe Arizona and rent a place with my friend who goes to school at ASU.
I will be driving down there in may and just wanted to see how many reptile people like myself live down there haha.
I cant keep any of my snakes but I have found places for most of them and things should all work out.

There's no shortage of herpers here for sure. I'm not sure how many of them are on this site though. :P Bummer that you can't keep your stuff =\

Hey another AZ person...yea!!! Trust me after living in Seattle for 8 years...get ready for a HUGE change...lol ;)

Plus you will be here for the Tucson Reptile Show!!! You can drive down...go to the show and then come to the after show barbeque at my house.....wooohooooo!! :8:

Thanks, and I will be renting a place with my buddy and possibly his old roommate and there will be no room in the place to keep anything because i pretty much will just have a room + bathroom to call my own and share the rest. He is also really afraid of snakes so that may cause an issue lol. And until I find work down there its another expense that I would need to watch.

They will be fine though, I am actually only selling 2 of them. The rest are staying back home with a local breeder on loan so its not all bad haha.

Who knows, when I get settled in here and make some more money I can get them sent down here.

I did not even notice that. If you want we have some extra room here. If you are not sure you want to sell them...let me know, we would be more than happy to house a couple for you. Seriously!! We are pretty anal with ours....so we might spoil them a little too much...lol Other than that let me know what you are selling...we might be interested. ;)

Question: Is the one in Tucson a show or symposium? My friend did a little research into one taking place this summer and she said it was just a symposium for education and whatnot O.o

No it is a show but there are guest speakers that teach things as well. By the way welcome to the forum. Hey you can come to the barbeque afterward as well.....yea!!

Advanced welcome to AZ. You'll learn to dread some of the summer, but its tolerable as long as you have access to a pool. The rest of the year is awesome. Plenty of herpers down here, and not nearly enough shows.

You'll be too busy partying in Tempe with that ASU crowd for snakes anyways, they're a rowdy bunch. :D

haha im from Washington state and a pale blue-eyed dutch boy so I may need to adjust for a while :D

And my buddy says its pretty fun down there :cool:

And yes, sunscreen is a must :weirdface I, too, burn like a lobster.
