i wonder when these two beauties are going to call it quits? they've been at it for well over 24 hours!

i was hoping she was going to breed with our spider this year, but he is still young and i don't think he's aggressive enough in trying to lock with her. he is producing sperm plugs though, and they have had one lock this season, but nothing came of it and they haven't locked up again since.

but i'm JUST AS GOOD with pastels het. albino!

Do breeders of other pets take pictures of their animals getting their groove on or is it just us creepy snakes keepers? Like I don't see a lot of farmers taking pictures of horses doing this for instance.
These snakes must be in love.

My Ghost has the same stamina, every hook up is at least 24 hrs sometimes 48 hrs and then I annoy him enough to unlock and take a day or 2 of rest.

I put him back in with one of my normals and he's been locked with her since Saturday afternoon. I had to separate them this morning.

LMFAO....you know, I never really thought of that. You really don't see many pictures of other animals from breeders.......hmmm....guess we're just pervs!

So you can mate the same female to different males at the same time? What could come of that in terms of a clutch? A bit of everything haha?

honestly, i have no idea. with humans if a female has sex with more than one male, she's not going to get a baby with the genes of both males, or multiple babies, one from each male. i guess that's not at all a fair comparison, though!

i figure it'll be one or the other. pastels, or spiders.

any input on that actually? i never really thought about it.

I think its more that BP's breeding is less obvious when its actually happening. Wither other animals, IE: dogs, its a bit more obvious.... :banana:

(and many people post asking if its a true lock or not)
