It may be close to even as far as price goes as far as two ghost and two pastel females for a female clown all around the same size, but a female clown that size would be way more valuable to me.

one interesting thought is that the clown morph hasn't had as much time in the hobby and it's price is still quite high. I imagine that like all morphs it will come down somewhat sharply over the next couple years. I would consider the trade if I had some males I wanted to pair up with those females...However, it looks like you only have one male, so you might want to think about that as far as breeding goes. Why only one male? Can he make THAT many rounds? It also looks like this isn't your only clown female.

...Anyways, just some more stuff to think about.

my initial reaction is no, BUT without knowing the rest of your collection its hard to say. Do you have use for you female clown? do you have better pairings that would go with a hypo and pastel?
You can ask our opinions but in the end its up to YOU, if you have more potential in doing the trade then go for it IMO. But if I was you I would ask to get something else thrown in that deal.

It may be just me but ghost is not nearly as desireable a recessive gene as clown. I would not trade such a valuable animal for any number of ghosts. The only thing the hypo gene does is wash out the color of whatever its mixed with.

You r second trade is not something I would do either. If you are so eager to get different animals then why dont you just sell the ones you dont want and buy what you do want??

If you want to trade any of your snakes you should be looking at other double co doms or something like pieds if you want recessives.

selling them is not that easy since prices here are way above prices there. for example i bought my bumblebee at around 800g for 1,700$. next up, choices here are very limited. if ever my breeding this season goes successful(im a beginner) ill try to get some from breeders who can ship worldwide. anyway, thanks for your opinion.:)

Don't do it, if you try and resell them you'll be considered a "flipper". That's worse than a death sentence.:D

BG would do the trade(and risk being called a flipper) if he had the right males to go with it. It all depends on what you're trying to do. It also depends on who's trying to trade with you. Is he a "flipper"?

Re: offered up for trade. what do you think?
The answer to trading is no. I would only trade up and never down. If you want to base your collection on quantity, then go ahead. The bumble bee can to a pastel can produce you some killer bees with good odds and the clown female can easily be breed with one of her sons that are codom het for clown the following year. Critically think about trading and the possibilities that you will loose. Breed your clown female to a lesser and with good odds you might get a male and female lesser het clown. That will be worth a lot more to your collection.

Re: offered up for trade. what do you think?
The best idea since supply is low and prices are high where you are is to just keep those 2 clown girls. Keep feeding them well. Breed them either to a clown or het clown male. Or you can just breed them with any other co-dom or double co-dom and you will have 100% hets. If you keep them and breed them you be ahead of the game.

Nope, but maybe depending on what other males I had.

It doesn't look like you have the right males though.
