BG, can you post a picture of the pastel candy? I have a pastel that was bred to a het candy ready to drop eggs in a week or so. I'd love to know what I'm working toward :D:D. I also have some het x het candy breeding so I'm hoping to satisfy my sweet tooth this year...

Thanks fans.:gj: Big Gunns gets a lot of grief for not posting any pics, so he decided to share one. BG knows that most people that don't know The Man, The Myth, The Legend in his own mind think he's just full of hot air(he is), but as you can see, he actually does breed some cool stuff. Unlike some people who act like they've done something, but really only know a lot of fancy words.:P:D

Nope. It's the Candyman himself, a large female het and a baby Candyball.

Big Gunns could, but you know BG Davey. Big Gunns likes to keep his fans wanting more. He just can't do it all in one day. He'll post a pic of the Starburst(Pastel Candy) in due time. Don't worry my friend.:gj:

He also may not have a pic of a Candy and Starburst together on the computer he's using. Kinda like the last time you asked BG this.:D They really need to be photographed together at the same age. BG will tell you this. The yellow is much brighter on the Starburst, but the purple is deeper on the Candy. BG believes that as a full grown adult the Starburst will be a much brighter animal that stays yellow and Lavender instead of tan.

I don't ever recall seeing these before, so thank you for the pictures BG. I do believe that male of yours just got added to my want list.

And speaking of wanting, will that little one turn out like it's dad as it matures, or will it stay lavender?

Are you the only one who has them, or do a few different people?

They will probably turn to look like pops, however BG believes the Starburst(Pastel Candy) will stay more like the babies. :gj:

I have nothing of substance to add to this thread. But I had to say that THESE ARE THE GREATEST COOKIES OF ALL TIME.

Also, awesome to see some of The Legend's snakes... Still waiting to see that 8ft monitor though...

The adult seems similar to VPI's Burgundy albino although not quite while the baby looks like a lavender. Will be interesting to see how the babies look as adults. At any rate, very nice looking animals.

BG hasn't seen The Queens Burgundy in person, so he doesn't know. He has however seen a Lav right next to a Candy, and they look nothing alike. The Candy babies look like the best ADULT Lav every produced on steroids. The yellow on the Candies is also more washed out "pastelly' looking....like a pastel paint color...not a Pastel Ball.

Here are the pics for yah of the Candy and a Lav. These pics may have been taken the same day. BG forgets.:rolleye2:

Yeah it definitely looks different. As for the Burgundy, I was only referring to the pics in NERD's book. Haven't seen it in person but it only resembles the adult Candy, looks nothing like the baby. Anyway, awesome animals.

Only time will tell if the genetics are the same. The Toffee now appears to be the same as the Candy, but that won't be known for sure until the price comes down(foolish to do now) and someone breeds them together.

Looking stunning Neil. I would say there pretty much the same but the only 2 differences I see is mine are more subtle in change, still the same but less intense. Having said that my smaller female is a lot darker than the male that is almost twice the size. Also, and not obvious on my pics but there is without doubt a pattern running through. My adult hets have it, the visuals have it and half the 50% possibles have it. Of course not proven but if does then it will be an awsome indicater for those with a male het. Maybe mine just went in the a banded/striped female but they all are very different to the eye from the normal pattern. Anything exciting coming out the bag this year. All the very best Neil, amazing project and potential.

    Any updated pics Paul?

What do you mean about the pattern running through? Are you just talking about the reduced / banded look?

Yeah, it's the ruduced look that the original seems to carry. Does your male have it? Has it passed to some babies? It maybe nothing but the visuals show it. I will post some pics soon.

I would say about half the babies I produced have a reduced pattern on the back half of them. There are a couple other things I have noticed.
