I think the ones that have traded have been between 15k-25k, last fall there was an 09 for sale for 25k. Not sure if it traded.

To my knowledge only 10 or so have been produced but that could be completley wrong, that is just going off some conversations I have had.

I hope to get lucky this year and hit on the 1/16 odds, have seen several copulations from a double het pair.

A dreamsicle? A lot. I haven't seen one available in awhile. Gorgeous animals. Better than the Panda Pied imo. That one was selling for $10,000 a year ago. Double recessive genes are always going to be expensive, as well as hard to produce.

Not a "dreamsicle.. That would be a Lav albino pied..
But just an Albino Pied I have seen as low as 12k in the states.

Oh. Thanks. I was saying the Panda Pied was selling for $10K, so it wouldn't be too much saying that an Albino Pied would sell for twice as much.

Well both are equally hard to make, but the orange/white just works! Yeah they are about 15-20K.

You would think a binopied would be hard with the double recessive, but I guess for the panda pied you have to have the super black pastel. Would that take the same amount of time to produce?

I'm loving the bonnie and clyde names :)

Only saw one for sale in the UK..Was snapped up at £15500..around $20k

    Re: albino pied ball
If you bought those double hets of kingsnake.com and raised them for 3 years, you would only have a 1/16 shot of producing an albino pied.

So assuming avg clutch size is 6 eggs, works out to be 1 in 3yrs....

thats a long term investment of time.

yeah saw that, was a male too...
no-one seems to know if it even made it to the UK, or whether it was sold in USA prior to the shipping date
if it did get to the UK, it's guaranteed to be the only one

Funny thing is that this is my dream snake.. I have a male Pied (note avatar) and a nice female Albino(next year will be ready)
So ... Did I mention I have the double het Pied/Albino girl that will be breedable next year as well..
So it will go like this for me.. I hope..
Next year I breed my male Pied to both females..
Then producing a clutch of all double hets & a clutch of pieds poss het albino and normals het pied and normal het pied poss het albino..
Hope I didnt lose anyone there.. Its all in my head I keep playing it out over and over..
Then The very next year I take all of my male double hets and run them through my double het girl and then do rain dances , pray , voodoo, what ever it takes to make me my pied albino... :O

Same odds for the Panda Pied as for the binopied. 1/16 per egg.

Dan Wolfe is a great guy (DW Herp), very helpful with anything I've ever spoken to him about. If you don't already get his email newsletter I'd highly recommend getting on the list, I really them. His super pastel calico's are unreal and I think this year he is gonna produce a few never been done combo's. Just my 2 cents.

If it's the pair I think he is talking about they will breed next season. Just because it is 1/16 doesn't mean it can't be hit in the first season. I hit my snow in the second season. Took 12 eggs to do it but also got a bino and VPI axanthic. These were my first double recessives and I will be working with more in the future.

THat's only if you start out with the bare minimum to produce them...

Much easier when you have pieds het albino, albinos het pied, etc

Takes time to prove out the Albino PH pied's and Pied PH albino's too. I've got about a few years of projects lined up to prove out genetics from an Albino to DH pairing.
