My new babies... YAY!

I just got my two little ones this morning, decided to take a few pics while I cleaned out water. Thank so much to Rick for my new babies. :) I have a VPI Axanthic Male, and a Het Axanthic Female. Here are some pics of my new babies... enjoy:) :banana::snake::gj::banana:

Did you alter the photos? The first and second picture of the female are quite drastic in change.

I have a pair of het axanthics hoping to produce for me this season.

The only alt in the pics really was the lighting.. she is not that orange, but my cam flash sucks.

Congratulations! Yes is hard to take pics of them, and also they seem to go throught brown and silver phases.

I wish I had the money to get a het female to prove my male is VPI, but I cant spent the money at the moment :(

He doesn't look brown in person, but not matter the angle I got with my old camera it looked brownish.

I'm glad you are happy with them Amy.
They are hard to photograph to capture their true colors. Here is a pic of the one I sent you. This pic still doesn't capture how silver and black he is, but it is close.

That is a much better pic, but the axanthic are ones you just have to see in person to appreciate how silver & black they really are. He is such a darling. Been cage watching for couple hours last night, and now no school so lots of time to admire. lol :):banana:
