Measuring MY BP

whats the best way to get her stretched right out so i can measure her? i heard someone say to hold them up high until she lets her body relax, i have a sewing measuring strip, but i cant seem to get her right stretched out to get an accurate measurement??

take a good length of string when shes nice & relaxed you know when shes not moving to much and lay it out on her back grab string when you reach the nose and measure the string should get an aproxcimate length takes a little help from someone & some practice but it does work aproxcimately

After she's been out a while and relaxed take a piece of string and run it down her side. You could always lay out next to her on a bed or such and get a ruff estament and measure from there. An approximate is all I would think you'd need.

sweet shes about 48 inches

You can also take your tape measure and tape it to a wall near the floor and let your snake crawl along the wall and when her nose gets to the end of the measure, see about where her tail is...

It may not be too accurate, but I've measured the sheds from my corn snake to get a ballpark measurement.

Is not ... Shed can stretch up to 30%!!!

The best way to measure them is to measure their weight. Length is almost impossible to get 100% right but weight is always right on. It is easier to tell if they are gaining or loosing weight if you weigh them every once in a while.

I was going to suggest putting him on the floor in the middle of a room. :)

i put her on the bed and i pulled her tail back and my girlfriend measured, my gf is starting to warm up to her haaha its cute
