If the BP is anything less than like 200 grams those hides might be too big. Also they like hiding so it's all good, really no need for space.
As a side note get some cork board or black paper of some sort. (If you want it pretty they they have fish tank backgrounds at petsmart). This will help him feel safer.

Those hides are too big. Just give him a hide on the warm side, no need for two hides. He will spend 90% in the warm hide

just fyi for fun...im a big fan of useing stuff you'd normally throw out for hides....it may help(just doesnt look great),old coffee containers(plastic ones),paper towl rolls, anything plastic or rubber pretty much, especially bowls...like butter bowls & also these are wonderfull for humidity chambers.

good luck with your new little one.:D

Hides don't have to be expensive. I use plastic cereal bowls from the dollar store. They come in packs of 4 so thats 4 hides for $1! I just cut an opening in the side and they are ready to go :)

Haha yea or u can go to Home Dept/Lowe's/Walmart and pick up the water catchers that go under a pot and use that as a hide. Mine started to push it up so I bought 2 dollar plastic pots and just cut them to about 3-4 inches tall and perfect hide. Add a door of course.

I have that exact hide for mine, which is about 24 inches right now. He curls up nice and tight inside it and seems to love it. If you get rid of one of the hides and throw in a branch with some fake leaves he should be pretty happy.
