What do you guys think? This girl is due on Thursday, but, I think she's gonna go tonight.

If that's how she's laying I'd say no..wait till she coils up and her tail is in middle of the coil..

Well...She layed one nice healthy egg last night, WTF! She was carelessly rolling it around the cage so I went ahead and pulled it. She may actually wait another day or 2 to lay the rest. Any ideas on why she layed only one?

Its sort of like egg binding. If she doesn't lay the rest in a week or so, you may need to take her to the vet.

Thanks Heather. I'll keep an eye on her. Since she has layed the one egg the rest seemed to have moved down, so hopefully that's not the case. What is the procedure that they would take at the vet? She is actually due on Thursday also.

Surgery.

It'll be a rough one.

But I wouldn't worry too much yet. Just wait it out for a few days.

Nope. It had a bunch of healthy veins and all that(I thought it was going to be a slug also). She looks a bit different today. She looks just like she is about to lay again, all the eggs have moved down. I personally think that the eggs were just getting to big in her and she had to make some room. She had 8 follicles, so I'm assuming she has 8 huge eggs now.

She was so big and so far along I really didn't want to disturb her.:colbert:

I had the wife snap an update pic. I figured I would share it. She doesn't look to unconfortable at this point.

It's there, it's down by her tail. She just has it covered up. Trust me, that was the first thing I looked for was all 7 eggs. Not to mention, I checked her for more eggs.

Well congrats! I have two girls that are looking mighty uncomfortable. One just went blue this morning, the other shed about 2 weeks ago. Both are in the 2400 - 2600g range.

What was the pairing with your girl?
