Embarassing moment at Expo today.

So, like usual, I attended Scott Smiths All Animal Expo today in Wheaton IL. Apparently someone had spilled a jug of the jell you feed crickets all over the floor, and as I was walking past with my new pick up in my hands.. my clumsy and uncoordinated self stepped in it and about fell on my butt!! I managed to catch myself on one knee, and not throw my snake up in the air! That would have been bad. Had people laughing at me! :P I guess I should have noticed that people were avoiding that area.

Can't take myself anywhere ^_^

That stuff is like the slipperiest material ever created! I bet you felt better that you saved your new animal, but at the same time at least you know why you walked into it in the first place. You were so amazed with your new pickup, looking up just doesn't really matter.

I know it is! The minute my foot touched it, I was goin' down!! Haha! I was amazed by my new pick up, wasn't really watching where i was going at the time. Oh well, I at least I didn't drop him! Could care less about myself getting a new bruise!

ok is it just me or is this a thread about a show with no Pic's lol. Glad you are ok.

Haha, yeah it is. It's the local show we have here every 2 weeks or so. I usually do bring my camera but end up getting distracted by talking to people and end up not taking pictures!! :mad:

Yeah everytime I fall, I jump up real quick, see if anyone seen me, then I quickly find a quiet corner and laugh at my dumb a$$. So sorry you had a whole room full that you couldn't escape!

You are soooo lucky to have a show every two weeks! I have to wait for months and then drive a minimum of an hour to go to one! :tears:

Oh my bad, lol I picked up a 09 Black Pastel. My buddy talked me into it right before I was leaving at the end of the show. He's just coming out of the blue right now.

I honestly thought my butt was going to be laid out in front of quite a few people, sooo happy I managed to catch myself =P

Yeah, Georgia doesn't have a lot of reptile shows... :'( I'm moving to where you live!!! LOL

I'm sure you made a scene.. but I'm glad you're ok. It's not like people will remember you doing it. It's nothing but a thing.

Oh, there always is something goin' on :) It was pretty funny actually.

Hopefully next time you go you dont hear people snicker as you walk by them....;)
