Wow! I could only imagine what you would get. Pastel Super Mojo? It would seem like you would have the possiblity of a number of combos from the offspring.

Yeah WTF! That would be a heck of a clutch. I just want to know what the Super Mojo Super Pastel would look like. Odds arent good. But wow that's alot of potential.
-
Re: pastave X pastave
Thats a 1n16 chance. A wide variety
-
Re: pastave X pastave
i would be happy with any out come of that clutch. even with the 1:16 you are going to have some good babies

actually it wouldnt be that killer looking of a combo. But breeding wise it would.
Leucistic means no pigmet at all.

well with the Super mojo and Ivory that is not so true the case. but its a rough translation.
-
Re: pastave X pastave
i would think the super pastel super mojo would be a lot cleaner than the super mojo because the super pastel would probably fade away the dirty head of a super mojo.
-
Re: pastave X pastave
i googled some pics of the super mojo super pastel and it is a very clean BEL. hopefully one day i will be lucky enough to breed one
-

Leucistic means no pigmet at all.
Then people need to stop calling a Super Mojave a BEL. Seeing as how they have pigment on the head.
I thought having pastel in a BEL may show in some way or another.

But i like the suprise part, and the 1:16 on the killer BEL :D
Roll them dice!

Here is where you guys are going wrong.
Your doing some online breeding, where it doesn't comprehend that it is giving different percents for the same morphs. Basically, it has some morphs two and three times, as 6.25% when it wouldn't be that.

It is still a blue eyed lucy. They are compatible morphs.
would we not call a Mojave x lesser a BEL then, because the Mojave doesn't make BELS?

Leucism is just a form of reduced pigment. A pied animal is actually leucistic.
YB Ivorys and all the lesser/butter/mojo/fires etc 'supers' are infact leucistic. Ball breeders name the different visual leucistic traits with 'fancy' names to indentify which animals they were produced from or make them sellable.
Try a google I'm sure wikipedia etc has more indepth info if you need it. :gj:

2 Mojaves dont make what I would call a true BEL. But a Mojave and a Lesser sure as heck do. That's why one is called a BEL and the other is a Super Mojave. 99% similarities doesnt make them the same.

All just descriptive names given by BP breeders/sellers.
They are all leucistic at the end of the day.

Re: pastave X pastave
Potatoe, Pototoe. Wait that doesnt have the same effect on the internet.

(CMON! that so deserves rep pts.) hahahaha

Re: pastave X pastave
As fiend for lyfe pointed out, the genetic calculator you used http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard/ doesn't add up the possibilities that are the same combo. It listed pastel twice, so you have to double the 6.25 to 12.5. Same with Mojave. It listed the mojave/pastel(pastave) 4 times, so you have to quadruple it, etc.
