Lots of pictures of Carnage and Toxin

Here are my two snakes Carnage and Toxin. Carnage is a Sumatran Blood I bought from Kara, he is an 08 and 58 in. My Sumatran short-tail is Toxin, not exactly sure on her age, but she is 43 in. My camera phone doesn't do them justice, but carnage is starting to get dark and I'm starting to see his red come through, and my black is beautiful...chrome head is practically white. Lastly I have a shot of the drawer system I use for their tubs. I love em and hope you guys like the pics!

Great looking snakes. I used to hate the thickness of the bloods but they are really growing on me. Im really considering getting one next. People say they are great snakes.

And how about that rack. That thing is sweet. Did you make it yourself?

Your black is sooo nice. My little guy gets a head like that sometimes, and it's such a difference! He's usually dark. Carnage is really pretty, too. 58" for an 08 seems huge! I love his sides especially.

Yeah I love them, both puppy dog tame also. I built the rack last year, works great. Thanks for the comments!

lol nope they always readily accept their meals :laughing: gotta love that with the bloods. I have my male at every 10-14 days depending on the size of the meal and he just ate about 2 days ago so he looking great haha. I usually feed my short tail every 7 days or so. He just seemed to grow very fast compared to her, but she is getting there.

Both of those snakes are absolutely stunning!!! Seriously. W:OW.

In all honesty, both snakes are beautiful and look great !! At that size and age I'd rather see them with more heigth to their enclosure,but it likely works for ya..Just my opinion..Most important is you enjoy them,care for them and your both doing well..:gj:

The tubs I have them in are rubbermaid, 64.4 L or 17 gallons. They are roughly 44L x 20w x 7h inches to give you an idea.

they are both gorgeous! Love that rack to, what did you build it with?

They're just lovely. How's the temperament?

Both of em are extremely tame, never strike at me, sometimes huff and puff but its just for show. My red was tame from the get go, but my black was very nippy right when I bought her, but within a month she got used to regular handling and is less jumpy than my red. Overall great snakes with awesome personalities and always ready for a meal :P

both very nice looking snakes I tend to agree with Tim on the height of the tub but its a minor gripe and personal preference, your obviously doing a great job as they both look very healthy and great condition.:gj:

This may just be the colors from the camera but you black looks alot more like a borneo Especially the first pic of it it looks more brown.

Sure looks like a black to me. The only real way to tell is by their subocular scales though, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm just keeping them in there while I am in school, and when I'm finished I plan on getting different enclosures, possible T-8s from ap. For the time being they are fine, but I will definitely be getting some upgrades.

No its 100% for sure a sumatran short tail/ black blood. I'm not sure what borneo you might be referring to but I think you have them mixed up a bit.:colbert:

Sumatran short taileds don't get that nice deep black until they get some age on them. On top of that, this one is a chrome or light headed phase, which don't usually get real dark.
