is on right now on animal planet and the guy is pretty rediculous if u ask me hes got 62 diffrent snakes some venomous and some constrictors and hes living with them in a room. and just got bit by a refanged black mangrove snake. and started yelling for a medic immediatly. now is it me or is he stupid, out of his mind, or is he really sitting in a room of snakes that have been devenomized?

I think it's awesome, a good way to spread the word that snakes are not out to get humans.

I flew into Vegas the day the event ended. I was so upset!

I think the guy is rediculous as well. I was somewhat watching this show last week, and I just stopped watching because I didn't wanna see this guy put so many different species in a small area. I mean come on, a King Cobra in there? Black Mamba? Green Mamba? Puff Adder? Anaconda? Gaboon Viper? Ha ha.

That reminds me. I was holding a Green Anaconda today (by the head, he ain't gonna be bittin' me!) and the thing took a dump all over my hand and the floor because it was pissed. And then I was getting chewed on by Kingsnakes, musked on by Milks & Kings, struck at by Bloods, Columbian Rainbow & Brazilian Rainbow boas, and all that. Not fun.

Deffinetley an amazing show and amazing person. What he does on Wild Recon is award worthy, collecting venom samples and educating people on the way. He also spoke out against S373 too. For him to be doing what he does and be illergic to most antivenoms shows to me he really believes in his work.

btw, those black mombas scared the [insert] out of me lol

i think hes an idiot. he is definately NOT helping the view on snakes. all he talks about is how quickly they can kill you and how bad their temperment. he handles the snakes like crud and well theres just too much i can say but yea. in my opinion. idiot.

They can kill you quick, and they do have a bad temperament. It's not like he's out telling lies to get views. If people know the FACTS, they will be less afraid.

Had we known that the H1N1 wasn't the killing flu we thought it was when it broke out, alot less people would have been afraid, but still take caution. People who watch this and may not know much about snakes before will know more now and will proceed with caution should they ever see one in person.

He is just stateing facts and I believe he handles snakes pretty professionally. I have often heard him say how many snakes are tame and how afew make good pets.

I thought it was great. I was more surprised that so many snakes could live in the same room without biting each other. Even us snake people have our own preconceived notions on how snakes can be housed and handled.

We must remember that these were professionals with years of experience beyond most of us.

The whole point of the show was to demonstrate that snakes are out to get people and generally won't mess with you unless messed with first.

I think hes great. the shows he does are awesome. never a dull moment kind of thing. now sure he does do some foolish things from time to time but he knows his stuff. He could possibly be the next Steve Erwin, the hobby needs someone out there promoting good things about reptiles right now.

I only caught the second half of the show, but i thought it was really cool. Had a funny moment tho, one of the girls at my house freaked out at the end when that he got tagged trying to get the last mamba re-captured. Does anyone remember what snake that was?

    overall a good program imo

It was a Rat snake! He got tagged by the Green Tree Python first and then he thought he might have been hit by the Puff Adder, but never broke the shin.
I thought it was a good show. It showed that snakes are not the monsters that the media portrays them to be. That we can live with them but we need to respect them.
