    Do you like Enchis?
I was recently talking to another breeder about me wanting to produce LesserEnchis and he said that he didnt think that people would want to buy enchis or enchi combos. I really dont beleive it but I would like some support.
Would you buy and Enchi or a Lesser Enchi?
Off topic but how much are the lesser Enchis selling for?

Are Ball Pythons your business or your hobby?
It shouldn't matter if people will buy the snake, it should only matter how you like the morph and if it fits into the rest of your plans. I still have 4 breeder Pastels and am puttin them into other morphs, everyone and their brother has a Pastel but I still breed them because I like them not because I think the people I sell to will.

Enchi's are nice and still have tons of potential into other crosses, but do what you like

Enchi's aren't at the top of my list but they have their places just like every morph. I am kind of in-between when it comes to them.

But as long as you like the combo and it's what you want to produce... It doesn't matter if others like them or not. Honestly I think a lot of people would be in line to buy high quality Lessers/Enchis.

That can happen with any morphs even if in demand, you need to be ready and willing to feed them and care for them for months that's the reality of this hobby. ;)

Really? It appears to be other the case here in Scandinavia. People can't get rid of their StingerBees which is sad because they do look great. Enchi is a cool morph and can yield some crazy combos.

EnchiYellowbelly, StingerBee, PastelEnchi, Blanchi, ect. are all cool snakes.

I put yes because you put Enchi cross on there. I'm not a big fan of plain ol' Enchis---they just don't appeal to me. But they bring out some interesting traits in their crosses and I DO like quite a few of them.

I wonder if its a pricing thing or if it's simply the taste of the people. Of course Enchi's have been available in the UK for longer than they have in the US..

But it's very good info..thank you

The prices are somewhat fair. When I compare what I've spent on some of my ball pythons then I think that appox. 1000 euro is a fair price for a StingerBee - only a slight price difference in gender. Please note it was the price from last year.

    You're welcome. :)

The first three that I mentioned before cost around 1000 - 1200 euro. Then you should add a little extra depending on what gender you're looking for. :)

I haven't seen any Blanchis for sale. I'm a sucker for EnchiYb though!

    Re: Do you like Enchis?
I like Enchis, I have a pair of 09's that I am stoked about. The Super is nice, and the combos are great looking. The Enchi is still on its way up in my opinion, meaning there are more people that want one than Enchi's being produced.

People will tell you to get what you like and produce the animals that you like to look at, but, if you happen to love ugly Pastels, and produce ugly Pastels, you are going to be stuck with alot of unsold babies. So while the "get what you like" addage seems to be a good one in theory, nobody wants to produce animals that nobody will buy.

Enchi Lessers are nice snakes, and soon enough, people will be wanting a combo Enchi male and Enchi females. The prices will probably stay decent too.

I would say, NICE Enchis will probably sell fast, while ugly ones that look like normals will not. Buy a nice one to use as a breeder, and selectively breed him to produce the nicest offspring. I do not think anyone will be left with a hatchling rack full of Enchi babies that they cannot sell. My Enchis have gotten alot of orange on them, which does not really come through in the pics, but my male is much nicer than my female.

After seeing some of the Enchi combo's BHB had at Tinley this past weekend, I don't think I'll be selling my Enchi females anymore.
The combo's he had were unbelievable.

I always thought that the enchis were a pretty useless morph UNTIL I saw then enchi/lessers and the enchi/mojaves. After I saw those combos, THAT'S when I bought my enchi.

Enchis are hands down one of my favorites. :D

A super nice enchi by itself is stunning, but they makes such great combos. I am dying to see how my guy lends himself to Stingers, Enchi Lessers, Supers, and Enchi pastels... and that is just re-inventing the wheel, but it excites me to no end.

Everytime I open my enchis tub I tell him what a handsome devil he is, and I mean it each and every time. :)

    I don't like Enchis.

I LOVE Enchis! The nicer examples are beautiful in their own right and most of the combos I've seen are really SWEET! I'm looking forward to producing some Lesser Enchis this year and Tigers next year. Hopefully the odds will come out in our favor.

Here's a few pics of one of the Enchis we produced last year. A few more generations of selective breeding and I think we'll have a nice lookin' snake.

I think enchis and their combos are amazing. Don't forget the Tiger (enchi + desert) when you're thinking about the great combos that can be made.

I agree. I think the combos are what will get the popularity going with these. The same thing with the vanilla. Nobody was really interested but when the vanilla cream (fire/vanilla) was produced last year, that started to boost their popularity. That's when I bought mine. Before I wasn't interested in them. You never know with some of these genetics either. Who would have thought the Mojave would be on the same allele as the Mystic? The Mojave is an established morph and just when you think there is nothing left to learn about it, out pops the Mystic Potion. The combos with the enchi have already showed a lot of potential and there are plenty more left to be produced. I know I'm planning on adding one this year if I can find one I really like (I'm picky when it comes to these).
