    Snakette's and my first post
    Hi there forums!

Ive been lurking the pictures of all your beautiful Pythons and finally caved and got my own account. Introducing Snakette! Originally sold to me as a female Pastel but i have come to suspect she may be a very good looking normal. There are breeding considerations with a cinnamon but would like your opinions before i start agreeing to anything.

Regardless of morph or not, she's my pride and joy and the apple of my eye.

So. I'm Ryan and this is Snakette. What is she? (besides adorable)

Tried to include pics of eyes, head, pattern in natural light, and even belly. Camera is Panasonic Lumix FZ35 all without flash or special settings.

She is a normal, but a very nice one. Her markings are very clean. I like the contrast of normals like that one. Her eyes are not quite so dark either. Nice looking girl you have there :gj: :snake:

She's adorable! I love that reduced pattern she has! No doubt she's a normal, but if she's paired with something maybe she'll pass on her reduced pattern!

I agree.. Even though she's not a Pastel her awesome pattern makes up for it!!

That's what i was thinking about the pattern with my friend's Cinnamon. And i find she is quite light coloured compared to most normals i see.. maybe she'll pass on some of that with the cinny as well.

You never know until you breed her. Hey.. even if she isn't genetic you could still statistically get 50% Cinnamons. :D

Welcome to BP.net :salute: And I agree, she is a very pretty normal :gj: If I were you I would have the sex double checked also because if the breeder lied about the pastel part he could have lied about the gender too.

Good point. A Herp vet could do this but I suggest looking for breeders near you and possibly herp/reputable pet stores to save a buck or two.

Here's to hoping it IS a female.

Yup, a good idea. He told me she was female and though i know these are NOT reliable things, her eating habits and fast growth/size seem to be female traits. Tail length and spurs seem pretty arbitrary and i wouldn't be able to make a call on that. Guess i'll look for a breeder nearby.
