    Okay, now enough is Enough
Alright, we just cleared the roads from 30 inches of snow. It's just starting snowing again and they're forecasting another 12-18 + inches.

I'm a pretty upbeat guy, but I've got to admit, the news of another 1-2 feet of snow is really bumming me out. I can't believe the weather this winter; 20 inches in December, 30 inches this past weekend and another 18 inches tonight and tomorrow. Any 3 of these storms during a regular Winter would be news, but to have at least 3 major storms in one Winter is just too much.:rolleye2::rolleye2::rolleye2:

I just got done digging my car out after the first storm. I can't believe it is snowing here again. My boyfriend didn't make it to work on Friday and it looks like he won't be going tomorrow either. I swear the snakes know that it is snowing. They have just been climbing the walls lately! They seem to settle down once the storms pass.

If it might snow here, the city thinks about shutting down.

If it snows here and it sticks, the city does shut down.

If it snows enough to make a snowman, the day will be spoken of for years to come and passed on to future generations. That's not a joke.

I put off going out shopping until today because the weather people said it was going to rain/sleet/slow starting at 11 yesterday morning, but be clear by the afternoon today. Yeah, so it didn't start raining til 5 last night, and now we have "blizzard" conditions expected well into the evening today. It's been snowing since early this morning, and I'm pretty sure I couldn't get out of my driveway even if I wanted to. Why did I leave Vegas again?

Stupid meteorologists. Never trust people who claim to know the future.

Always been the same here, but this winter has been crazy. It snowed a few times and stuck a couple. It was no 2 feet of snow like they're getting up north but still

I saw a report on the local TV station at noon that stated that Baltimore has 65.5 inches of snow so far this year. A larger amount than Chicago or Buffalo NY. This is one record I'd gladly not have been a part of.

Measured in my back yard 34 inches from the first storm and just over 12 inches from this storm and it's still snowing. The wind has picked up and they're saying it's blowing at about 20 mph with gust to 35. They're also saying later this afternoon, winds could gust to 60 mph.

A power outage is my biggest concern along with roof colapse.

We had a firehouse in town have it's roof collapse, then started a fire. All equipment in the building was lost. Luckily the roof over the residence part of the building did not collapse, so no one was injued. However 2 paramedic unit and 2 fire trucks were destroyed. Also a military humvee was lost. A National Guard unit was dispatched to help them get to homes that are still snowed in during the first storm and was still there last night.

    It could have much worse!

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened here too. People in California can't drive when it rains, if it snowed I think they'd shut down the roads just to make sure the stupid people don't drive.

Of course, it would never snow here, but in the off chance it did...

Well, this morning we had the first earthquake in 6 years over here. I could have sworn it was a big snow plow passing my house.
And we got over a foot of snow.

    Fun stuff!

Yes, I read about that on the net. Mother Nature is sure busy these days.

We are getting pounded here in York, PA. We have over two feet of snow now and it is not letting up until 9:00 p.m. This is just crazy! I haven't seen snow like this since I was a kid!

Well it snowed sometime last night or this morning? Haha, I thought all we were getting was some freezing rain but woke up and there is about 1-2 inches of snow on my deck. I checked the weather and it looks like we are good for no snow for a while. Well not until Monday anyway but even that is only at 50% chance right now. I'm so done with the snow and we haven't even gotten as much as you guys up north. This is the most snow Virginia has seen since I was a little kid.....x2! Mother Nature sure is having fun with us. Last winter we had days in the 70s! This year we get all this snow. :rolleye2:

Seems like the 2 low pressure systems have joined together just off of the Maryland coast and it's causing a tremendous storm surge, which is hitting NJ and PA at this time. I've heard them say that Long Island is going to have a "Snow Hurricane" later today/tonight. Lots of snow and winds over 60 mph.

It sure has been a rough couple of days.

I just want to get to the garage so I can start up my baby. I know I won't be driving it for some time, but I need to hear her engine come to life. This will get me through the rest of the winter.

That is a very beautiful car! This weather is so frustrating! I am just bracing myself for another storm next week. They have closed all the major highways and roads around here. I have had to dig a path for my dog just she can go outside to relieve herself. My boyfriend didn't make it to work with the last storm we had and I don't see him going anywhere tomorrow either. They completely shut down the plant that he works for. We all have a little bit of cabin fever going on.

Thank you! Yeah, I hear what you're saying. It is getting old pretty quickly.
I don't know what we're going to do, I work in Baltimore City, so if they still have the Phase 3 in affect, I don't know that will mean for all of us.

Oh well, this is just another day in paradise.

    lol...Jim!!!

Well we are not quite getting snow here in Tucson but it is suppose to snow down to 3000 ft. So if it drops a few 100 ft more...we will have snow. I can say.......it is raining like crazy today. We even had hail...big ole chunks that hit me in the darn eye as I was trying to get kids into the school from the playground. UGH. By the time I got in I was soaked!! I got the kids off with their parents an hour later and I left early....way too wet.

I know I don't live in the snow so but I have a total appreciate that you guys think is crazy. I would love to be snowed in for a couple of days. lol My husband (from Montana) thinks I been hitting the crack pipe when I talk like that ....

I'm not sure I'd rather see 2-3 days of rain either. Talk about bringing down your moral. Sorry about the eye, hopefully you're okay!

Here too, I think we've got somewhere around 20 inches, but I don't know how they're going to measure it with all the wind blown snow.

At 8:15 am on Thursday morning, we still have 20 mph winds with gusts to 40 mph. Last night I shoveled a small path just incase of an emergency, but I'll tell you the truth, I don't feel like doing anymore shoveling. I'm still having pains from my bypass surgery, I fought through it with the first 2 storms (Dec and last weekend), but I don't know if I'm going to be able to dig out from this one.

    This really does suck!

I heard about the station in Sykesville.

The city can't really do anything about our roads, we got people parking in the middle of the street so even if plows did come through there's no way they can plow anything. Haven't had class all week, luckily some of my professors are giving assignments out online.

    http://i947.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1265959188

This was taken a week ago before the last storm, There is probably as much snow on the ground now as there was in that picture and the cars are not parked nice and neat like that anymore.
