    Las Vegas!
So my BF and I are in LV for the World of Concrete convention. I was wondering if anyone knew of good resturants that aren't in the casinos that you would recommend. I looked up resturants on the travel channel and they recommended the Belagio Buffet. I think tonight we're gonna hit the MGM buffet since that's the hotel we're in.

So far we've had some really good food. The only place that really disappointed me was Wolfgang Puck. Way over priced and not enough selection on the menu. And the waiter was a little pushy.

So, any suggestions? We're here til Friday, and his company is covering some of the meals! We're pretty open to anything!

We go to the Rio Buffet, the Santa Fe Buffet, and there is an awesome all you can eat Sushi restaurant that Tim knows about....

Lots of good food out there. :)

The aged Flamingo has a very nice buffet. Beware of suspicious characters betting on horses near the Lions in the MGM.

Oooh all you can eat sushi?! Sounds like heaven to me! We love sushi... If I hadn't just gotten back from the MGM buffet (which was meh, but really good roast turkey) my mouth would be watering! We went to Shibuya in the MGM, I think that's how it's spelt, and it's really good. We had the dinner where you tell them your likes/dislikes/allergies and they plan out the dinner for you. It was SO SO good. The price wasn't great, but was acceptable for the quality of the food.

We have a California Pizza Kitchen back home, and I agree it's good! But, since we're in LV, we're looking to eat some awesome food.

Granted, since I just turned 21 and get a drink everytime I sit down... Everything taste good, lol. And I havn't gotten ID'd ONCE! Love it.

We haven't gambled too much, only a little. I've looked at the area where people bet on the horses/sports and it looks... weird. lol. The lions are AWESOME though! I'm going to get a picture with a cub!

btw, I miss my snakes! :depressed But they're doing well so I hear from a friend.

Still looking for more places to eat.

We've pretty much been limited to the MGM Grand for dinner. Not wanting to fork out cash for a taxi, since we have no idea where to go. We went to the resturant Seablue tonight, and it disappointed. The food was good, but the service was crappy at first and then once we talked to them about it they went out of their way to make sure it was better. Even covered our appetizer.

So, only here for two more nights. Our flight leaves at Noonish on Friday, so maybe we'll try to catch breakfast then.

The best thing to do while in Vegas is so to walk up and down the strip and just explore, you will stumble across many good places to eat :)
