At the show, I came across prices from $150 :O all the way up to $400 +.

There were a few vendors that had some really nice snakes, in particular a vendor that had some amazing Hypo Burms and another vendor with some great ghost butters, fireflies and other morphs.

I came across this guy on my way out and after rechecking the other spiders available, quickly returned and whisked him away to his new home. :gj:

I like the spiders with lots of orange/yellow, too! Lots like high-white, but I think these are more interesting. great snake.

I recognized him. When he asked you what spiders were going for and your low end quote.......:colbert:

    LOL

You walked off and I told them - they don't start that low. They start at about $150. But, your offer was likely more than it would have gotten at the auction - and it was all about money going to USARK, so it's all good!

BTW, that was Deborah and I behind the table!:P

I know :please: If it helps, I still feel really guilty about that :( I really do.

I was worried about getting a snake from someone other than the breeder who would have known its lineage and any possible defects (like extreme wobble that could hinder feeding or something).

With his relaxed temper and beautiful colors, I'm sure he'll be stealing hearts in no time at all :D

And I'm absolutely positive, that even the most snake hattin' person wouldn't be able to resist his Stevie Wonder impersonation :gj: its the coolest thing I've ever seen a snake do ;)

LOL! Never send two men to do a womans work! We will just figure out the most complicated way to do it! lol!

Thanks again for helping me meet Roscoe. I can't tell you how good he will live, but if you read some of my threads, you will be glad that he came home with me (even if it was slightly scandalous). I'm sure he is among the low percentage of completely spoiled and very well socialized snakes that people keep.

BTW, it was nice to meet you and Deborah. And I'm glad I didn't recognize you, or I probably wouldn't have Roscoe right now. :snake:

NO, no, No! I told you - it takes a woman to do a man's job and do it better than him! :P

Why wouldn't you have him if you recognized us?

Cause I would have felt too guilty to even offer that amount if I knew you. I felt bad about it then and still do actually.

Either way, I'm just glad I got him. And I plan to have him for a long time :D

    Very beautiful snake!!
I wanted to get one... but I just didn't bring enough money and I didn't do enough research... :( (I purposely did it so I couldn't buy a snake though...)

$150 for a spider is an awesome deal!

Yeah, his pattern is really neat. His little smile goes all the way along his bottom jaw. And his yellow and orange speckled sides look fantastic.

Oh and I never said what I paid for him, but it was not $150, although that would be a good deal for a Spider. lol, I didn't bring money for the same reason, then I went to the ATM and got Roscoe :snake:
