Hi,
A hopper what?
How much did it weigh and how much does the snake weigh? Or how big was it in relation to the thickest part of the snake?

Re: okay so.....
should more then likely be ok. hopper is kinda small for that size snake... pics for reference would be nice, cause everyone considers certain sized mice differently.

Re: okay so.....
a hopper moouse (its a teenage mouse kinda lol) and it is as thick as the thickest part of the body. its about a mouse with a 2 inch long body.

Re: okay so.....
IMO I would bump the prey size up.

Re: okay so.....
im about to knock the size up soon. haha but ifeed her twice a week so shes not starving of anything.

Re: okay so.....
At 2 feet your BP should be at rat pups/large adult mice, unless he has been under fed.
Also once every 5-7 days.

Re: okay so.....
My BP is about 30" long, he weighs around 700g. I feed him a f/t small rat or 2 large, fat live adult mice. To me a hopper is very small, about an inch long, about 12 to 15g. A 2-inch long mouse sounds to me like a small adult. It's hard to tell without seeing, I think that's why people go by weight on them.
But yeah, if she's acting hungry, feed her again.

Re: okay so.....
welll my local pet shop calls them hoppers but yea they are about 2 inches in lenth so they are pretty much small adults and i feed her she took it allmost imeadiatly im thinking about upgrading her to large adults.

Here you can see what the different types of mice and rats are called, length and gram weight.

Goes both ways. I buy hoppers from a place that calls them "small mice." What I call a "small adult", they call a "large mouse."
It's one of those "go figure" things.
