    PETA attacks groundhog day.

So now PETA thinks the groundhog should be replaced with a robotic groundhog.

Sometimes I wish groups like PETA would be outlawed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that doesn't mean they get to parade around being a bunch of :cens0r: about it and shove their beliefs down everyone's throats. :taz:

Not to mention it's a captive raised animal as it is. A.K.A. used to human interaction.

    Petting zoos?

AFAIK, they want to shut down all zoos, and aquaria, and farms, and every sort of pet ownership. If we're not careful, they'll take away our ability to eat vegetables as well. (Oh! The poor caterpillars and beetle larvae!!!!! They must not lose their only homes and foodsources!!!!!)

    Interesting fact:

PETA’s “Animal Record” report for 2008, filed with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, shows that the animal rights group killed 95 percent of the dogs and cats in its care last year. During all of 2008, PETA found adoptive homes for just seven pets.

Just seven animals -- out of the 2,216 it took in. PETA just broke its own record.

Just a bunch of filthy hypocrites with nothing better to do, IMO.

Disgusting... You'd think people have better things to do than to shut everything down that involves animals.. I am completely against cruelty to animals, my whole life revolves around caring for animals the best way possible... Seriously though, COME ON!!! How long has Groundhog's Day been around, and NOW it's a problem?????

this is what i hate the fact that they are a bunch of hypocrites. they are all talk and no go. like Moofins07 said they only found homes for 7 pets that is ridiculous over the summer i found a home for 22 full grown dogs and i am one man. they have an entire organization.

isn't their agenda for people to not own animals at all?
so, who are they going to give the animals to?

the joke's on the suckers that actually give them money.
