Depends on the snake. Some breed at 500 grams and some wait till 1000 grams. Pick a number in the middle and run with it. But is you see sperm plugs its ready Now.

You have to pop him and you'll see small white stringlike things.
Usually they are mature by their first winter as long as they are good weigh. My pastel male was 450 at the beginning of breeding season and he has been locking for me. The female is glowing, so he must be viable.

I would put money on him being sexually mature. My pastel is also an 08, but only 500 grams. I just can't put the weight on him. I was even power feeding him small RATS for two months right before pairing him and he only gained 50 grams, and then of course stopped eating for a few weeks after all that food :taz: He might be up to 550 now, I haven't weighed him in awhile.
