It was a good weekend at the dog show

I know a few of you like Kaylee, so I figured I'd share how she did this past weekend.

Saturday she took Winners for her 7th point, and Sunday she took Best of Winners for her 8th. Sunday she was on fire, she looked amazing and the judge nearly gave her Best of Opposite... over the #13 dobe in the country. After much deliberation he did end up giving Best of Opposite to the Top 20 special, but the fact that Kaylee was moved ahead of her in the lineup up until the last moment was exhilarating!!!

No photos of her in the ring, I really tried but her handler had a tight schedule so I had to be waiting at another ring with one of her other client dogs while Kaylee was being shown. I was able to watch from afar though - at least I got to see her in the ring!

Ahhh, she is so beautiful! You must be so proud of her. She is definitely a champ. :gj:

Congats on the points. She is quite the looker on of the nicest I have seen in awhille. The points will come easy for her now!!

Thank you! She technically only needs her majors now, but we're going to try to get her completely singled out before she goes out for her majors. I'd rather aim for two 3pt majors than a 3pt and a 4pt. It's hard to find big majors in this region.

We'll see how the win photos turn out. They were both done in a hurry, so they might be pretty terrible. :(

Oh yay!!! I wondered how she did! She's such a gorgeous dog! I wish I could have gone! It was an extremely long week for me.

I never get tired of seeing your Dobes. Stunning, there really is no more beautiful dog to me than a well bred Dobe! One day, when we are ready for another dog...

Yep! All my dogs have Paco Collars, and when the cats are full grown they'll get theirs too. :)

For something similar, but not quite as pricey, have you checked out www.collarmania.com ?? I have gotten a few from her and they are all eye candy fo sho

I've known about Collarmania for awhile, but I'm a die-hard Paco Collar supporter. Ana and her crew have done tons of work for me over the years, and really have been more like friends to me. :) I'll gladly pay extra for Paco Collars - my loyalty to them has gotten me some pretty nice perks... including my most recent Paco Collar - a custom, one of a kind leather slip collar that they won't be making any more of. :)
