Pastel or Super Pastel

I got a pastel and a normal in trade from my dwarf Caiman and the pastel looks like it might be a super pastel to me. It has a very light head a busy pattern and is still a very nice yellow color it weighs a little over 600 grams. I just wanted to ask you guys your opinion on it I will prove it one way or the other next year anyway. First pic is with flash second is without.

Its possible that its a Super pastel, but honestly to me it just looks like a really nice pastel.

Color looks right for a super but the head is off.. It doesn't look washed out enough.. My supers heads are white..

Unfortunately, the picture quality is not good enough for me to make a call on that. :(

I will get better quality pics later. My camera is crappy but I have a friend that has a good one.

I'm going to make an impromptu guess and say it's a very nice looking pastel :gj:

95% sure its a really nice pastel, anyways you bought him as one so im guessing you goy what you payed for.it could be a super, but from what i have seen supers are lighter have white washing on the heads and the flames and fading have a white tint. so it may have a chance of being a super but not a big one, just my :2cent:

I think it could be a super. The head is pretty washed out from the pics; enough to resemble a super IMO. But better pics are definitely needed.

If its not a super, one of the nicest regular pastels I've seen!

To me that looks like a Super. The head is very light for a 600 gram snake. But the only way to know for sure is to breed him. And I agree.. if he turns out not to be a Super that is a VERY nice Pastel!

hmm might just be a very nice pastel but i did notice her head is faded so you may have a super pastel...either way beautiful snake. :gj:

After seeing your second round of pictures, definitely a super! Pastels have jet black spots in there pattern and aren't so washed out, her black is way faded (also on her spine it looks like someone tried to erase her pattern-that's one of the things I look for when deciding super or not). Just like the bumble bee and the killer bee. The bumble bee's markings are black, while the killer bees markings are faded, almost brown. What an awesome pick up!

I would like to thank everyone for their opinions on her :gj:. Either way she is a great looking girl I am hoping she is a super :banana: but I will find out for sure soon enough. I am gonna breed her to my fire male and hope for a few nice fire flys. But for now all I can do is put some weight on her and hope.

looks like a super to me but may just be a awsome pastel. best way to tell put it with a normal all pastels then you know you got a super.:gj:

Their are way better routs than using a normal male for that female pastel....i voted regular pastel but after seeing it think its a super..

I will be using a fire male and hoping for half firefly's and half pastels.
