Light Box Trials (DUW)

Trying out the light box I made today. Took a cardboard box and cut out the sides and front. Then I lined the inside and top with white muslin fabric. Set up some lights and voila! Insta-light box. Now I just need a nice D-SLR. The little point and shoot Kodak did OK though. Let me know what you think.

I had a piece of muslin over the top attached with clips. Then I put a dome light on top and two clamp lights on each side. I also had a lamp set on the floor in front because the pictures were still coming out dark.

Oh, and I set a piece of poster board inside as well. It curved up the back of the box.

Nice pics!! I like the black back ground :gj:. I'll have to pick up some black poster board and try it out.

Hey thanks! I tried black poster board and it reflected a lot of light and caused colors of the animals to wash out. I tried to find a black fabric that was less reflecive. Problem is that cat hair and fuzz is visible :rolleyes:

I had the same problem the first time I used white fabric. My black cat decided to check out the set and left lots of presents. I'll definitely try black fabric too.
